Dog Shark 🦈🐶 Carcharocanis familiaris, commonly known as "Shark Puppies", are your best friend from the ocean! #Sharktober2026

A large illustration featuring various "shark-puppies" of different shark species in a variety of poses. They are shown in curious and happy stances, running, sniffing, acting playful, and more!

Below the image, there is a description styled like a scientific species illustration, naming them "Carcharocanis familiaris". This name combines Carcharodon (the genus that includes great white sharks) with Canis (the genus that includes dogs), plus Familiaris to indicate they are domesticated.

the pressure to be perfect is so much lesser with traditional art which makes just getting on and actually drawing so much easier

the garlean rper scene has a facism/racism problem for sure but so does the ishgardian rpers or erp scene so ultimately i think this conversation is kinda ultimately useless 🤷🏽

i dont rlly see the reason in everyone explaining how their garlean ocs are safe and morally on the right side of the empire's demise. thats cool and all but good people can write ocs who are evil and facists in fandom can play deceptively kind cute heroes

what do you mean there's coultenet art hiding on the german-language wiki article

an illustration of coultenet, a pale elf with blonde hair and green eyes, adjusting his floppy, wide-brim wizard hat. he's wearing a green wizard robe.

betoto: the main reason it has the nickname "beetle" is because of it's dark, shiny, buggy eyes! they're big, wide, and toto is VERY strong on the eye contact. not maliciously - they just don't notice how strong they come on and has a bit of a resting bitch face

010

sticks 🦕➡️ missing fanfest :[ @albibibi.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

albibi: very conscious of his eye contact, tries to follow the "rules" of eye contact in conversation. will look at the space between your eyebrows to seem like he's making it, will remind himself to look away for a few seconds every now and then so as not to make the other person uncomfortable.

120

sticks 🦕➡️ missing fanfest :[ @albibibi.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

aeric: constant eye contact. especially when he knows it makes you uncomfortable. he can go a very long time without blinking. relishes in the discomfort, unless he's the one uncomfortable - in which case he won't look at you at all, and will hate being looked at in return

120

sticks 🦕➡️ missing fanfest :[ @albibibi.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

aamu: makes eye contact so infrequently that it's chilling when he does. kind of feels like he's staring through you, very difficult to look away.

it's not ALL his fault. he's very overworked and under a lot of pressure, both from his family and his higher ups at work. he struggles with drug and alcohol addiction. he's physically disabled in a city not built to accommodate that. he has Multitudes and i just like to bully him really<3

very stern and snippy middle management type guy. workaholic, thinks he does his job better than anyone else possibly can. blunt and honest to the point of rudeness. needs help in a lot of areas in his life but will scoff at you if you offer it. he's an ishgardian noble too so classism galore...

how do people feel about canon quest dialogue in fic? for my msq rewrite i like to keep snippets of what npcs actually say in the story (usually as conversation openers or expanded on) but i don't know if that's considered ill form or taking the easy road..
