Syriac type-setter from... 1569! Designed by Humanist Christophe Plantin, whose printing house in Antwerp is still preserved as a museum and UNESCO site. Plantin believed that scholars had to be able to consult the bible in Ancient Greek, Latin, Hebrew, and even Aramaic and Syriac.
