Therapy can be great. Just really try to be honest. Sometimes it’s uncomfortable to be so open with a stranger. Also - therapists are like shoes. Sometimes one just won’t fit you right. Make sure you get one that feels good.

Having worked in health care over 20 years, see lots of + &/ U=U, feel like I’m constantly lecturing people on this. It’s exhausting (but worth the discussion). Someone who responds negatively (some really get hostile) tells me that they are a garbage person and unworthy of any attention.
