I updated my little blog's theme. It now has random colors that change each time I commit to the blog repo :). Top is before, bottom is after. Anyway, I'm pretty happy with the result. You can check it out if you want: xoc3.io #blog

@wrench I wish my country was more civil and respected other countries. :( there are lots of good americans, but the elected government is pretty crappy all around rn.

My 3-year-old pixelled Ultraman. I'm pretty sure this is Tiga, but not confident on that. It looked slightly more recognizable at the beginning, but then he kept scribbling away. Looking forward to more great artwork. #pixelart

Popshrew, Popslash, Poporan, Poporina, Popqueen I think these ones were all tricky, not sure why. I don't consider myself a great artist, so it took a few hours while listening to some podcasts. #pokemon #pomepop #aseprite #2bit

Spearpop, Fearpop, Epans, Arpop, Pipachu, Piechu. The Fearow (sorry, Fearpop) was the hardest one here. IDK why, but it was hard to get the long beak and neck to look good in 16x16, while including the googly eyes. #pomepop #pokemon #aseprite #pixelart

I wanna switch my personal website hosting off of linode to something cheaper. My loose requirements: * Preferably Arch Linux, but any Linux. * Disk encryption (don't want anyone looking at my stuff). * Cheap (is $5-10 a month still possible) and don't need lots of cpu/storage/memory. * Powered […]

I still have gmail forwarding to fastmail and don't imagine I will get rid of gmail completely for some time because it will take a lot of work changing the email on all the services […]

Would you play this game? TBH, I tried to draw a hand, then added a few eyes, and it became this. @pixel_dailies #pixel_dailies #pixelart #aseprite #32x32 #2bit #hygiene

TOP: A legion of eyes attached to a conglomerate creature squeezing toothpaste perfectly onto BOTTOM.

And followup... I keep making tweaks to my core palette. Just made a few more tweaks, so here is the same image, but with 256 different color combinations.

256 big cacti and 256 mini cacti.

Blue, green, red, and gray ones! Delish.

Was a bit bored today, so I spent some time redoing a pixel daily from December last year. The red one is the original, and the green one is my redo.

A red cactus in a red sunset wondering if it will ever make a friend.

A green cactus staring at its friends in the distance, wondering if they are red.
