Kosinski has made a career of making sterile, impersonal, but very pretty spectacles so I’m pretty skeptical. Oblivion and F1 were both practically monochromatic. (The 2006 film doesn’t have pastels but it works, because instead nails the very distinct mid-00s aesthetic)
