Thanks for keeping up with all of this. Reading what everybody's posted as it has unfolded the past several days. Withholding judgment as is typical with our industry.

And unless you are an award-winning design agency, never use more than 3 or at most 4 fonts. EVER. And get those in within the 1st 10 assets retrieved during the page load.

It's in his DNA. When the homeless issue got so big in Cali, he chose to side with the fascists. He fully backs entire encampment sweeps across the state. He's a performative con artist. His "instincts" are "whatever I can say where I can seem to stay relevant in discussions".

People need to wake up and accept the fact Newsom has always been a predatory opportunity politician. Then, when Kamala did an end-run around him in the last election cycle, his dark side just started showing up more and more. Now? He's a performative con artist just looking to stay relevant.

OTAs & then Pre-season, I always cringe every time I go to read the latest updates around the league, waiting for the inevitable lost seasons for star players.

I noticed a lot of them only allow comments from people they're connected with. And all of them just repeat and amplify the same talking points. Meanwhile, those of us who have observed politics for 30 years, know Newsom is a con artist. A Charismatic manipulator.

Several years ago John Mueller called me a wiseguy, because well, I'm a wiseguy. That day, I took an official Google Trusted Partner banner and PHotoshopped it. Upper left corner is the Trusted Partner 5 pointed star badge, and the text reads "Google Trusted Wiseguy". Below that are badges for "Top Contributor" and "Mentor".

Having lived in California most of his career, I saw him for the manipulative, charismatic vulture that he really is long ago. His views on the homeless, or protecting PG&E, or podcasting with Nazis, for example, are radical on the wrong side. He is a performative liar. A fascist in Dem clothing.

The system broken beyond repair, is intentionally cruel. People like Mariana do heroic work for those who are already suffering, and forced to navigate a system beyond anything anyone should endure.

New post is live. A reader asked if having similar steps in a process will create a duplicate content problem for SEO, AIO, GEO, etc... The answer is no. I share why and a few ways you can have similar steps without competition. www.adamriemer.me/seo/similar-... #SEO #AIO #GEO

Do Similar Processes Cause Duplicate Content Penalties?
No, sharing similar steps to solve different problems is not a duplicate content issue when you have proper content and code.

Niners fan here. I think Seattle looks sharper, though it's too early to know. It feels like they're going to be competitive, making for a great season in the division.

Some would say more information is needed.
AI Overview: "Geo" can refer to a few different things, and whether it's "dead" depends on the context:
The GEO Group (NYSE: GEO) is not dead. It's a leading diversified government service provider specializing in correctional and detention facilities, according to their website. They recently reported their second quarter 2025 results and announced a $300 million share repurchase program. The company has been navigating challenges, including public and political opposition to private prisons, but has focused on debt reduction and securing new contracts, particularly with ICE, according to AInvest. Analyst ratings are mixed, but with some positive outlooks for future earnings and revenue growth.
Geo, in the context of the game Genshin Impact, is debated. Some players feel that the Geo element is "dead" or underpowered compared to other elements, lacking strong damaging reactions and facing challenges in late-game content. However, others argue that certain Geo characters like Itto and Gorou can still form viable teams.
The "death of Geo Guy" refers to a creepypasta. It's a fake episode of the children's show Geo TV that was never actually made.
Therefore, to definitively answer whether "GEO is dead," more context is needed about what or who "GEO" refers to.

Working with GPT takes patience. The clearer my prompts and the more I forgive mistakes, the better the process goes. When a “clear” prompt gets weird results, I try to spot why so I can improve my wording.

Wrapping up an audit on "Domain 1." If it clicks, I step in as Director of SEO—overseeing these sites plus 2,300 more. I would get to architect the revamping of the entire system for maximum SEO / AI value. Loved my years as a consultant, but ready for my 4th run as a director at a great agency.
Table showing six domains (Domain 1–Domain 6) with major gaps between URLs in sitemaps, pages indexed, and “Crawled” or “Discovered – not indexed” counts.

Example conflicts:

Domain 3: 746,386 URLs in sitemap, 588,216 indexed, but 1.8M crawled-not-indexed and 305,892 discovered-not-indexed.

Domain 2: 1.25M in sitemap, 353,263 indexed, but 921,829 crawled-not-indexed and 697,421 discovered-not-indexed.

Domain 5: 295,860 in sitemap, 399,300 indexed (more than in sitemap), yet 798,391 crawled-not-indexed and 60,472 discovered-not-indexed.

Pattern: Most domains have far fewer indexed URLs than in sitemaps, while massive numbers remain in crawled or discovered-not-indexed status, indicating significant indexation and content value issues.

100% agree. Sadly, it's true about many who talk about SEO professionally as writers. And more sadly, it's true about many in our own industry who learned myths, shortcuts, and junk methods. Then, people on the outside, look at all the noise from all of that, and they understand even less reality.

Many have never truly understood what SEO is nor how it fits within digital strategy, therefore, what type of skillset is needed. However, in my experience as a teacher/ trainer, someone who doesn't want to be educated will never learn. That is a real problem in life generally.

I was surprised lately when they were claiming recently they have the power to motivate Google to change crawling behavior. I was equally surprised Cloudflare unilaterally turned off ALL AI crawlers as the default for all new Cloudflare customers. They're on a power trip.

Good question. I am seeing a pattern where Cloudflare hosting configurations have appeared to have gotten stricter without site owners making changes. Site after site, they were surprised when learning it was Cloudflare settings blocking Google.
