Got to spend all of last week up at Fallen Leaf Lake. It's one of the most beautiful regions in the world.

Love that! Mine also has a separate ring jacket around a more classic engagement ring, and I think it's so fun and unique.

Two of my favorite nurses came in early today and have been going absolutely crazy with a glue gun and fake roses.

An utterly bizarre and nearly inexplicable version of a horse made out of an obstetrical examination gurney and various materials found around the emergency room. My favorite part is the wrist restraints made into stirrups.

I know breastmilk changes to the baby's needs, but I have no idea what is going on that has made my morning milk lime green. I'm not sick, baby is not sick, no significant change in my diet. It was the same color yesterday morning as well, but normal cream color last night, as pictured. So weird.

I recently made an apple pie with green apples from our backyard tree, while watching Great British Bake Off, and it was so seasonal and lovely. Also made crust for three more pies and froze it, so it's available for the next ones!

Wanting a pretty ring is so valid! I told my husband to ask my mom for a family/inherited diamond (which I knew was available) and then he had his uncle who is a jeweler make it into a new ring with my birthstone and personal touches. I adore it.

This is my 38 year old beloved stuffie! His name is Best Bear. He looks a bit better than he used to because last year as a gift my mother and husband conspired to send him to a teddy bear hospital. He got new stuffing and a good cleaning, as well as fixing up his nose that had been worn down.

Haha I have no idea! He’s a woodworker so he makes all sorts of things for me out of wood. The most impressive thing he’s made recently was a mahogany built-in bar with a curved front, marble counter, eight drawers, and a paneled wine fridge. Took almost six months!

I am like you! When we bought this house, everything was renter-white and sterile. My husband added all of the trim and we painted the whole room a beautiful dark green. Bringing some character back into our 1912 house.

I took a ballet class at 22 weeks pregnant and now I’m so tired that I’m noping out of cooking dinner. But it felt good while I was there! Except for the arch of my right foot which kept cramping. I never had great feet for ballet, even when I was dancing 9 hours a week.

Getting in one last ski day on Friday because it should be an epic powder day. Bad news: my normal ski pants no longer fit my pregnant belly. Good news: this epic jumpsuit does! (and yes my obgyn said I could ski. I’m a quite a good skier and I’ll be cautious.)
