Fresh off the press. We study tension-induced wrinkling in thin elastic sheets with two circular holes. We show how breaking symmetry changes the onset, orientation, and long-range propagation of wrinkles, with implications for thin-film mechanics and cellular mechanosensing. doi.org/10.1016/j.jm...
