There was a brief moment when I thought maybe I'd be open to the Knicks winning the finals. I've been holding a grudge about commentary on the Eastern Conference and thought maybe it would feel good to shut people up. But after watching approx. 4 minutes of this game, it turns out no thank you.

Well, it was a hell of a season. Rough way to go out, but literally every way out aside from bringing home a title is rough. Detroit exceeded my personal expectations and I was homer simpin’ high on them. The front office has emphasized the long game and we’ll see how they dive into that very soon.

It makes me sad that people are leaving. I get this isn’t what we hoped for, but it’s been a hell of a season. Win or lose, our guys shouldn’t end the season in LCA with just those busloads of Cavs fans.
