OMFG. I cannot begin to describe my gasp at how Roberts & co decided to go all in on LOST CAUSE theory & insist that the Reconstruction Congress did Confederate sympathizer President Andrew Johnson wrong by attempting to keep him from destroying Reconstruction www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/25p...

Political violence is deporting thousands. Political violence is refusing social services to the poor and needy. Political violence is actively finding a genocide. Today was gun violence. Our society is surrounded by guns. To the point that shooting each other is a solution people consider.

I have my original vaccine booklet from when I was a child. 16 shots, 7 different days from birth to 3 years old. 2 more shots before 7th grade. Born in 1997 in the US, 18 mandatory shots during my childhood. That's it.

I wouldn’t piss on Charlie Kirk if he was burning, but this is the correct take:

I am not sad that Charlie Kirk is no longer on this earth. His hateful rhetoric spurred on individuals who killed innocent people. I feel bad for his children who had to watch their father die. That's it.

One of my favorite things to photograph when traveling is graffiti and signage. D.C. did not disappoint.

Sticker that says, "No kings since 1776."

Pedestrian sign that has worn down to only say "you push button"

Sticker says, "Immigrants are not the enemy." An attempt was made to scratch out 'not'.

Every year: January: Yup, it’s going to make sense to have our convening the last weekend in June! Last Friday in June at 10:00 am ET: What the fuck were we thinking having our convening this weekend? Last Friday in June at 12:00 pm ET: There is literally no place I’d rather be this weekend.

Being at #PPP25 reminds us that we are not as alone as we feel some days. No matter what the news reports and what politicians have the largest platforms, there is a progressive movement within the legal community. Chin up.

It's official! All FB and IG accounts are set to be deleted February 20,2025. There is a strange heaviness in my chest as I deleted everything. These accounts have existed for so long. It's almost like chopping off long hair for a pixie cut.

The first visual of the Trump presidency at the border; a sobbing woman in Ciudad Juárez stands outside the Paso Del Norte port of entry, clutching a pole as she weeps having learned that her 1:00PM appointment for a chance to seek asylum in the US has been cancelled. x.com/arelisrhdz/s...

Arelis R. Hernández post on X: "Migrants in Ciudad Juárez who were waiting for their 1 pm CBP1 parole appointments learned 20 minutes ago that the app has shut down & those appointments are no longer valid." There is a screenshot of video. A woman lays her head in her hands, leaning against a pole, and cries. As the video playes, multiple cameras are pointed at her and there is the sound of a DSLR or film camera shutter going off.
