A guy on Reddit made a data model for CFB teams and it's pretty neat. MSU's page is as bleak as expected: basedonactualmath.com#/team/michig...

Fox News was founded by Roger Ailes, a Nixon Admin official, basically to ensure no Republican president ever faced accountability again. Looks like they want that to be retroactive too.

As a generally conflict avoidant person who chose a conflict heavy career: therapy and practice. Figure out why you're avoidant and understand where that comes from, and then find ways to lean into asserting yourself. It's a skill like anything else

Good teams win, great teams cover /s But honestly, way to keep it close. Good result for year one.

I'm sitting with some guys that just graduated. I mentioned the year we almost went undefeated but for the Notre Dame game and on guy goes "I was nine years old" I'm ancient but I remember.

This is a wild perversion of the "guns don't kill people, people kill people" argument. AI must be safe because it doesn't so anything without human input, but guns don't kill people it's the people that do.

There are so many articles about the Western Michigan/University of Michigan game all asking questions.... But not a single one has the answer that we all want: why is there a special secret clock????
000
Andrew K. Gardner @akgardner.com · 06/09/2026
So there's a secret clock that only comes out when they can change the outcome the way they want It's like the soccer extra time but extra secret

It is insane the Big Ten has not given an explanation yet. The referees had the conversation when they made the ruling. Everyone there knows it. What takes so long?

Real weird for there to be a clock everyone sees and then a secret clock that they get to bring out for special occasions, like a treat. But just for Michigan.

Unless they had Michigan to win in a parlay or something. Giving them an extra chance to win can change a lot.

Also since this is how we do college sports now: WMU should file a lawsuit to have the game score overturned.

In the age of sports gambling you really have to wonder whether someone had money on the game and happened to give Michigan that extra second

The funniest part about this is that if the Claude watermarking system actually works, it will show, without a doubt, that its systems are not "artificial intelligence" in any sense of the concept. The reverse-engineering of the word tokens shows it's just math, not consciousness.

I know how this place feels about AI and I am quite conflicted on its use given *gestures broadly* But man, vibe coding opens up such a world of doors for personal programming. Building a huge smart home dashboard and getting home assistant plugins to work together is so satisfying
