Telling me how many Calories there are per 100g, but they're sold in 160g packets, and that a packet contains 6 portions, and that a portion is 5 sweets is absolute wasting-my time bullshit. So here's the maths: Bag of Haribo Tangfastics = 553.6 Calories. Individual Sweet = 18.5 Calories.

Pop-u-lar. Ran for two seasons on Sky One in the UK in the late 90's/early 2000's. I had such a crush on Carly Pope. Now it's as if all traces of its existence have been hushed up! If it wasn't for the boxed DVD sets I bought in America, I'd think I'd imagined it.

...I've got to be honest, I'd be pretty nervous trying that in an automatic car with no clutch pedal, AND apparently a lot of modern cars have an electronic/automatic handbrake. I think in one of those I'd just close my eyes and pray! So an automatic will move when in "drive" without accelerator?

Some pretty steep hills in this part of the UK! If I was starting out, parked, facing uphill, I would; put the car into first gear, find the biting point using the accelerator and the clutch. Then when I could feel the car straining to move forwards, I'd release the handbrake and move off...

...Don't get me wrong. I'd love an electric car and I'd chose one over a petrol engine if I could. But for me at least, the cost and inconvenience of an electric vehicle and the unknown factors, makes them a luxury item that I can't afford.

For me it's about price and familiarity. A used electric car is going to cost me double to triple a petrol one. I've never driven an electric car, I don't even know anyone who has. Are they all automatics, how do you do a hill start in an automatic, where would I charge it?...

The Free plastic Wizard on the cover of White Dwarf 186 (I had the Bright Wizard pictured) was my first Citadel Miniature, I got the set of Dwarf Warriors around the same time. I'd love to get my hands on that Wizard model again to paint 30 years later! I managed to get some of the Dwarfs on eBay.

Ah yes, my favourite time of the year. When I can almost constantly smell smoke and am permanently paranoid that our house is on fire. So glad that wood burners became fashionable for a brief period a few years ago and all of our neighbours just had to rush out and buy them!

They came free on the cover of White Dwarf 186. My first issue, and the Bright Wizard was my first-ever GW model. I'd love to get hold of one and paint it now, 30 years later! I see them on eBay every now and then, but only for spiteful prices :(

I have a theory that GW sold off huge job-lots of their old carrier bags. I keep seeing people completely unaffiliated with the hobby walking around with mint-condition late 90s/early 2000s GW carrier bags in my home town! I think they might be getting them from a charity shop.
