6 hours into Dragon Quest II, level 18 and this is clicking for me more than the first one did. I enjoy having a party once more and the HD-2D graphics are still stunning. The rapport of the cousins is really cool to see play out.

Game #4 completed in 2026 Game: Dragon Quest I Time: 15 Hours Difficulty: 4/10 Trophies: 100% Score: 8/10 It was nice to get to play the game that started it all in gorgeous HD-2D. I would have preferred a party as accustomed in turn based JRPGs but it did add a layer of difficulty.

10 hours into Dragon Quest I and I'm probably 2/3rds through the game already at level 35. I find it kinda funny to get the true ending you have to lug the Princess around everywhere. The Hero is strong! 💪😂

5 hours into Dragon Quest I and I'm glad im getting to experience the series from the beginning. The HD-2D graphics are amazing and it's me vs the world although I'm not used to not having a party in a turn based JRPG.

Platinum #281 goes to Dragon Quest VII Reimagined Time: 64 hours Difficulty: 6/10 Score: 8/10 Decided to give Lucky Panel more time and BOOM! 💣 5 hours later I popped the Platinum! I will say that trophies that include RNG should not be a thing.

Game #3 completed in 2026 Game: DQ VII Reimagined Time: 59 Hours Difficulty: 5/10 Trophies: 98% Score: 8/10 A solid entry into the DQ series with a likeable cast of characters and good vocation/combat system. I just wish the story was a little more cohesive at times. P.S. Fuck Lucky Panel 😭

22 hours into Dragon Quest VII Reimagined and I'm still loving it. It might be sitting as my second favorite DQ game behind XI at the moment. Neoseeker has the game broken up into 19 chapters and I'm halfway through chapter 11 right now at level 35.

Finished up Chapter 3 and the story is really taking off now with the full cast almost assembled. Level 40 with 39 hours played and the combat in the game is so damn good. I can't wait to see where this deep story ends up.
