Batomon Showdown is very fun 😊

I could not for the life of me replicate the black hole effect, but apparently the triangle thing happens when the levels in the subdivision modifier don't match between the viewport and render (noted, but I'm sure this won't be the last time that some seemingly innocuous setting bricks everything)

A selfie of me in the greenroom at the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake, Iowa. It's a historic music venue, famous for being the last place that Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and the Big Bopper played before their fatal plane crash (known as "The Day the Music Died"). There's a tradition where bands/artists who perform at the Surf Ballroom sign the walls of the greenroom, and so the whole thing is covered floor to ceiling in writing and scribbles and doodles. I also got to go stand out on the stage and look at the (empty) venue, which was a cool feeling -- standing where many hundreds of musicians have stood before.

I'm standing with my back to the signature-covered wall in the greenroom, looking up at the opposite wall and the bajillion logos and doodles all over the place. I've been told I look kinda sad, but I'm not. That's just my neutral expression. My face only has like 3 modes: sad, smug, or goofy. Anyway, I thought this was a cool picture and I wanted to share it. Sorry it's not a big tiddy anime woman or something.
