as far as i can tell you don’t need to pay for access to you jellyfin server using this app? watching, downloading and so on is all available for free. there’s like icloud, admin and some other random ai stuff locked behind a paywall. but eh, support the software you like i’m surprised this is good

finally moving from plex to jellyfin. i had a perpetual license but i can't even access my server remotely anymore. just found jellytv, so nice... omfg, weird how good an app can be if you prioritize someones library! even connects to seerr, love it.

is it just me or does atpassport feel like a poor solution for this? i like that theres exploration here instead of just talk but a user that doesnt care to know about the protocol, it doesnt add anything for them. confusing imo

i’ve never understood why the stelo cgm by dexcom doesn’t allow you to see your glucose level when it’s over a certain amount. thought it was because it can’t read that high, but nope. if you download the clarity app (same one your doctors use) you can see up to 400. like you’d expect??

like for example, while RSS does just work on anything basically. it doesn’t care if they content is yours, and it isn’t part of another protocol as it entirely lives on the host website. you have to ask others to read it, while stansite/atproto inverts this and adds a discoverability layer.

personally working on something that completely avoids a lot of the setup right now. but while the setup seems like more effort than it’s worth, this is how we ensure some sort of verification on a decentralized protocol. so imo at least, this is necessary for individual publications.
