Honestly that's good to hear, as I kinda wondered if going back to play 1 and 2 after 3 would've felt weird? But I definitely need to get the re-releases on Steam! But I suppose it's like Crash and Spyro - the 2nd installment is often the best or at least on a par with 3.

AJ Omega @ajomega.bsky.social · 15/10/2026

Honestly, to this day i have no idea how I picked up Gex 3 as a kid, but I'm so glad I did. Not quite Spyro or Crash tier, but still a really good fun game - and the same goes for the soundtrack. Really must check out the first two games sometime...

Huh, I'm rather glad I stocked up a few years ago and have 3 64GB cards to hand for filming trips!

AJ Omega @ajomega.bsky.social · 13/10/2026

So I've been feeling really exhausted and burned out recently, and not felt like I've had a chance for a proper rest day. Given I slept for over 13 hours last night, I think my body made the decision for me. Like it or not, today is a rest day.

So I've been at the Great Electric Train Show today, and it's been a lovely day. Fun fact; the venue is Arena:MK, right next to the stadium of a certain franchise football team. And they had a home game today. ...can't say I heard much noise from next door today, I wonder why? 😅

Those are some gorgeous shots! I was on that tour, and what a lovely day it was :)

Everyone at AFC Wimbledon was immensely sad to hear of the passing of our dear friend and colleague Michael ‘Mikey T’ Taliadoros. Our thoughts are with Mikey’s family and friends at this difficult time. Rest in peace Mikey, a Wimbledon legend in every sense. www.afcwimbledon.co.uk/news/2026/oc...

Oh my god wasn't it just?! I mean it was literally SECONDS later that the curse struck 😅

AJ Omega @ajomega.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Not only one of the greatest title deciders, but one of the greatest cases of commentator's curse I've ever heard. 'I do believe you're looking at the 2026 World Rally Champion!' - SECONDS before Solberg binned it. If I'm Oliver, I'm powerbombing Mike Chen through his own commentary table. 😅

One of the all-time great championship finales just played out today. Someone give Oliver Solberg a big hug. Nothing but love, and he'll have his time. But for now, Richard Burns and Colin McRae finally have company as British WRC champions. Well done Elfyn. 💖 Rallying is amazing, man.

Bam! Perfect. That'll do me just fine! I'm like a magpie with pin badges, if anyone sells a pin badge as merch I'm having it 😅

AJ Omega @ajomega.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Amazing!! I've been thinking I need a pin board for all the badges I've been amassing, what board is that you've got there?

I made a lil' video thing about a steam train! Yesterday, the gorgeous LNER B1 61306 Mayflower visited Kent on the Golden Arrow circular railtour. So I figured it'd be rude not to say hi! Features some serious chuffage. 🚂 youtube.com/shorts/30cjK...

Recently I saw a film trailer played before a YouTube video. Given the vibes & the A24 label, I assumed it was a high concept psychological horror/thriller. Imagine my shock when I found out it's actually a documentary, & that this is, in fact, a real person. Not an actor doing a bit. ...what.

Still remember how fun it was seeing 'Charlie from Busted' going from teen heartthrob pop-punk guy, to dropping Palahnuik's Laughter and then Paint Your Target out of nowhere, in real time.

Ooooh! That's interesting - I wonder if they had to find an alternate name to InterCity 125? Which is the real name of the train on that poster! Also that's a Class 40 on the poster on the left too. *I'll stop nerding everywhere now I promise*

Tea, blankie and a good book. Just what I need on a low spoons Saturday. Have a lovely weekend pals :)

Resting on the coffee table is a cup of tea in my KitKat mug, and the book 'Scotland's Railways in the 1980s & 1990s' by Peter J. Green. In the background is my Xbox360 and shelves of retro videogames.

So in typical fashion, I've only just heard about the new Hot Wheels: Infinite Rush game. FYI, I LOVED Hot Wheels Unleashed. & I really enjoy Forza Horizon. How accurate would it be to describe Infinite Rush as 'Hot Wheels Does Forza Horizon'? Because if so, get on my wishlist. Immediately.

Firstly, I love that you still have an iPod. I genuinely want one again! Second, talking of wrestling meme videos reminded me of the old Twitter thread titled 'every wrestling theme fits over the titles of The Bill'. Are those glorious clips archived somewhere?
