it’s not wednesday but i have FINALLY updated my kacchako wip ‘toy soldiers’!! archiveofourown.org/works/35032525

“So are we going after a mafia guy or not?” Bakugo demanded irritably.

“You’re assisting fully-licensed heroes in an arrest,” Klepto told him, a sentence that, to Bakugo, sounded far too lawyer-approved for his liking.

“We’ve been put on his case because, a week ago, Klepto and I went undercover to procure a sample of Trigger directly from him,” Hawks elaborated. “The HPSC knows he’ll try to wriggle his way out of any charges—his family doesn’t pay their lawyers that much for the fun of it—so we need to do things absolutely, perfectly by-the-book. No cutting corners. We do that, and we might be able to get more information on the Matsudas’ synthesisation process, so we can find out exactly how they created Trigger—and how deliberate its creation was.”

With any luck, once they found that out, coming up with a neutraliser would be easier. In theory, anyway, but in his experience, theory and practice rarely aligned.

“So we’re just arresting him?” Bakugo demanded. “Just slapping a pair of handcuffs on the guy? Is that seriously it? I wanna kick some ass!”

The reason I'm so positive about aspiring writers is that I believe that: * Anyone who can string a sentence together can write a story, script or book. * Anyone who puts enough time, effort, and workshopping into it can write a GOOD story, script, or book. * Anything finished can be fixed.

dgmw “books aren’t political” is a dumbass take, but a couple months ago they were all like “oh if a page is just a wall of text i’m not reading it all” (like they’re BOOKS, EVERY page is a wall of text) so how is this meaningfully dumber to have triggered a schism?

I love artworks where you zoom in and see that they're all erratic paint strokes and brush marks that look incoherent but seeing it as a whole looks so polished and refined and detailed and god I just love art
