Think you spoke to it in terms of "how do you define the question". For me it's about what you got out of the player and that goes beyond profit (I wouldnt have sissoko in the chat for that reason). Think you could make a case for Shearer tbh as yes the fee was huge but so was his contribution.

Really don't understand the grief he got tbh. He was never a world beater but I don't think anyone could say he didn't give everything he had for the club.

I think the club wanted more change but hamstrung themselves with the way the initial survey was conducted where everyone said every element was critical.

Don't think "can play both sides" is a must (we need a backup LB in the squad anyway). Equally not sure aspiring to an injury free full back is super aspirational. Both Hickey and Kayode at Brentford fit your criteria as an quick thought. If you're suggesting there are zero RBs in Europe, well...

Plenty decent right backs available and I'm not convinced Tino is a better right back than he is left back. I'd be ok with us selling him.

Time to move Tino on for me. Very clearly didn't/doesn't want to be here and is a proper crock. Full back is a less volatile position in terms of replacing too (especially with Dedicon board). Dare I say he's also better at left back and just ok at right back?

Watched the first half to gauge the level of Europa League and they were lucky to go in 0-0 at HT. They can have their big day but it's mad how a win via a dodgy pen is being pitched as some epic display.
