Two days ago I qualified for worlds and it means a lot to me. I have been playing professional Magic for 11 years, I have never played worlds, not even after I won the Pro Tour. I play Magic for glory, and there is no stage more glorious than the World Championship. See everyone in Atlanta!

Great changes to Standard. More or less exactly what I would have done in WotC's shoes. The Pioneer ban makes a lot of sense to me, although I wish I got to play the format enough to really explore the implications. Mid-RC Modern ban was never happening. Overall, nice work WotC.

I went 2-2 to 11-2 at the GP last weekend, which I am proud of regardless of the result. But then I looked back and learned that the last two times I q'd for the PT I, at some point, won 9 matches in a row. I guess you just need to go on a run to do well in Magic in general.
