#inktober 9-12 9. Ram in a forest 10 was supposed to be mystical but my brain read that as mysterious. Had a weird empty comment on my website two days ago 😅 11. Rescue. I released a jar of ladybugs which got in when my window was open. 12. Instead of 'toss' drew a sleeping dog. #art #inktober2026

A page divided into four parts, each is a small drawing in ink and acrylics. Top left is a ram in a forest. Top right is a drawing of a website comment. Bottom left is a hand with a jar and bugs being released outside. Bottom right is a comically long dog rolled up in a spiral and sleeping.

Back to actual #inktober. Days 5-8. 5 just gotta slap a shroom sometimes, yk. 6 me having a moment because of all that coding recently. 7 is panicking about something. Bills? Taxes? Tasks? 8 my doggo's used to trash dive to "find the stinky" xD #inktober2026 #art #traditionalart

a page with 4 drawings. top left is a person in a wizard hat slapping a very big mushroom. top right is the ogre meme complaining that he is too stupid with computers but clearly can write some javascript. bottom left is a plague doctor surrounded by stacks of paper and clutching the sides of their hat. bottom right is a cubical dog chewing on toilet paper it fished out of the trash bin.

I'm a little behind on Inktober, but I drew a bunch of #botober horseys! They're based on my ultra small hors OC which is literally just a head on tiny legs 😅 #botober2026 #inktober #inkytber2026 #art #traditionalart #sketches

Botober horseys 1-4. Happy fly, excessive wet, dust of the dancer, a star you chase

Botober 5-6, cat to cow, rocks of the wind

Botober 7-9, expected shoes, shot laser, buttermade.

Dashboard UI preview. There's a button to scroll down to pre-load all entries, buttons for individual episode export, and a button to export them all. Also added a bar for progress log. I can now export individual episodes, but hit a bit of a regress with avatars. And bulk export isn't ready yet.

Oh my god that's so clever. I couldn't really figure out what I wanted to draw with this prompt.

010

wizard with a knif @ajcrwl.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

I said I had given up on looping, and then I looked at myself and thought "skill issue". So I learnt how to write an entire iterator 🙈 Right now I can grab comments section for one episode. Avatars included. Now I need to iterate harder and fetch them all, pack them up, and spit out a zip.

Day 3 Miniature. When you realise you are not the big dog :C Day 4 Cactus. Just a funny cactus 🤷‍♂️ #inktober #inktober2026 #art #traditionalart #inktoberday3 #inktoberday4

a cubical orange dog and a spherical fluffy brown dog twice the size of the first one

A very spiky green cactus with cartoony eyes and a smile. It has three appendages.

If you go to the link in the post, there is an email that you can send them a message to with this question. Also if you can check the Tapas Discord, maybe someone can donate you some ink to bring you over the threshold so you could withdraw the money, I think people were arranging stuff like that.

#inktober is officially here, and this will be my big thread! started with day 1 "apple", and also chucked in day 2 "relic" (my dead dog's toy). and also drew that same doggo as a warm up 😊 I draw with ink and acrylics. #traditionalart #art #ink #inktober2026 #inktoberday1 #inktoberday2

March, okay. Not okay, but there's still time to save everything and move. I am so sad this is happening :C Big corpos gotta corp(se) (again). People who used Tapas all loved it. Too bad we were not convenient for the big money...

0100

wizard with a knif @ajcrwl.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

practically rewrote everything from scratch today. i'm gonna bring up popups and click through all the comments, and pray that it doesn't get stuck at some point.... but on the plus side, i figured out how to save avatars as well (i could've easily ignored them and left them to die in the future).

120

wizard with a knif @ajcrwl.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

some more progress today, and mmmmy god everything would've gone much faster if Tapas used json for comment data and not a giant ass string of HTML in their fetch response 😩 replies are served in a separate request as well. i had to give up on making fetch requests all together, so much looping.

So far I'm working with rather small collections of comments, might need a large test subject with pagination, but I gotta finish the basic stuff first.

110

wizard with a knif @ajcrwl.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

Made a bunch of progress on this yesterday. Learning new things in the process, today gonna find out how to bulk make blobs and zip them.

110

wizard with a knif @ajcrwl.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

No, not for transferring them anywhere, it's for archival purposes. Each episode's comment section will be saved to its own html file.

011

wizard with a knif @ajcrwl.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

I'm going to try and make a user script which downloads all comments from Tapas episodes. Started doing some research today, feels doable. I'll see what I can crank out tomorrow.

2. Lemoon lemoon.io/ajcrwl YELLOW. HAS GIFS. AND TRANSLATIONS. Logged me out for no reason.. But I think I like it a ton, so I'll happily upload on there soon.

010

wizard with a knif @ajcrwl.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

Testing all the new (to me) platforms today to see which ones support some GIFage. 1. Pinya pinya.io/ajcrwl Nice Discord community, but no GIFs in uploads, so I'll have to wait, but I followed as many folks from Tapas's discord as I could, so it seems like I'll be only reading on there for now.

Awake but at what cost. The amount of work that needs to be done today is gonna be insane... But at least I dreamt about the tiniest dachshund puppy (which I can't afford to buy), yippee

With the news of the Tapas shutdown looming, just wanted to create a starter pack full of Tapas creators so you can keep up with them whereever their work lands next. Check them out! Also, if you're affected by the shutdown, comment and I'll add you to the starter pack! go.bsky.app/RYenyUa

Thanks for collecting the folks. Wouldn't mind getting added too. I have all of my main webcomics on there. Aside from my website, Tapas had been my main platform since 2018 😢 I was juuuust about to return after a small hiatus..

000

wizard with a knif @ajcrwl.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

There is a page on my website called Support where I added every person who had ever sent me a tip, and that included even the people who had sent me the smallest amount of ink on Tapas. Their bottles would upgrade if they had sent more. If it all goes away, I'm gonna look at this and be sad, ok 😭

wizard with a knif @ajcrwl.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

At the end of the day, everything I've ever made, comics and art, will be on my website dreamdb.com But the community loss undoubtedly will be felt again :C (I am currently tinkering, fixing bugs and adding more art, I WILL fix this thumbnail 😁)

Tapas possibly shutting down makes me really sad. I've been on the platform since about the beginning of 2018, found friends there, crossed paths with many people whose names I now recognize in many other places 😥

120

wizard with a knif @ajcrwl.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

I just checked, is it slightly over 400 pages? I do believe it is very doable, maybe with some help? But then again it's up to you. Can you share a link to that Fables place? I have like 15 tabs open with different websites I need to check out and the list keeps growing 😅

000

wizard with a knif @ajcrwl.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

big sad in Tapas's discord today, but many people are planning to move to ComicFury mainly, also Lemoon and NamiComi have been mentioned.
