Spent the day sick in bed, but at least I had a good book. Picked this up on a whim because I guess I’m in my gay romantasy era (is that what this would be considered?) A delightful read. Hurt and comfort in equal supply & an engaging plot. (Sad I missed out on the RC edition, look how pretty)

This! It's vital to realize that cozy and cute queer SFF isn't All There Is, it's just all that gets traditionally published. Why? Because it's safe and non-threatening. If you're specifically looking for darker queer stories, there's a whole world of it among indie and self-published authors.
