revisiting steven universe score moments for special reasons! i'm remembering how the episode "change your mind" was intense to work on. surasshu and i split up the workload for it. "steven meets pink steven" was one of my tracks... such a dream to score a james baxter animation :') 🩵

we contributed to this 18+ album… separately! 💞 this is truly one of @infloresce.com’s most special albums. we’ve heard from listeners that it’s eye-opening, confronted them with many feelings, and inspired them to reflect. that it’s achingly real, complex, beautiful. listen + read the zine:

A blue-tinted photo of me performing on stage at MAGWest. I’m playing my signature white Roland piano keyboard, and looking down at my instrument. I’m a non-binary person with short lavender hair, wearing a glittery black sweater and a black face mask adorned with an iridescent mask chain that I made.

Behind me, a large screen shows the retro interface of a chiptune tracker overlaid on rippling blue ocean waves, giving liquid drum n’ bass vibes.

magwest last weekend was so fun! here are a few shots from our debut @infloresce.com table (ft. @quarkimo.bsky.social & @milesmorkri.bsky.social):

A phone photo of the Infloresce Records vendor booth, with quarkimo and aivi standing behind the table and smiling together. Our table is an explosion of pastel colors. Two CD racks and a box of vinyls sit atop the table, along with a pink tray of stickers and a large retro
boombox. A live flower arrangement grows out from behind the boombox, and shelves above the live flowers serve as mini-art exhibits, showcasing our “Floral Folklore” and “Ranch 97” album projects. A handmade sign above the CD racks reads “Infloresce Records: making gentle music that goes hard” and rests inside a pink picture frame, with blue and pink fabric flowers glued across the glass. We also have a pink cash box because we are that extra.

A close-up shot of the two CD racks, which feature an assortment of CDs and comics from Infloresce Records, and some guest albums from the label Lilypad Records (stylized as “iiiypad records”) and Automaphonica Records. Pink signs hang above the racks, listing the CD prices.

One CD hangs above the prices: “residence” by miles morkri. A sign next to it reads, “MAGWest Exclusive. A new compilation of miles’ best works, including their new single, “here goes nothing”.

A close-up photo of our retro boombox, a bulky silver box that plays both CDs and minidiscs. A lush arrangement of live flowers made by my friend Emily Pong grow out from behind the boombox.

hi bsky 2026 🩵 i’m aivi (they/them), a vietnamese-american composer. i mainly make music with the band @aivisura.com. we composed the instrumental soundtrack for steven universe, a witchy game called ikenfell, and now we’re composing music for the games way to the woods & cartomantic!

Phone selfie of me smiling on the beach, with a bright blue sky and soft afternoon lighting. I have lavender hair cut short like I’m in a K-pop boy group, oversized sunglasses, and I’m wearing an oversized cardigan.

Illustrated album cover for aivi & surasshu’s album, “Meanwhile” by Genie Liang. A robot and short-haired, feminine-leaning person look to the horizon together, side-by-side. The artwork has windy, flowy lines, and airy pastel colors.

Album artwork for the Steven Universe Future soundtrack: a painting of a bend in a mountain highway at night, with a shimmering ocean and the Crystal Gems’ Temple in the background. Steven’s lone car drives away from home.
