The amount of people I have known who try to pass off extensive and expensive training as raw talent and unguided practice is baffling. There are many ‘feral’ talents who are uniquely privileged in that they could afford and focus on professional training in adjacent fields.

The wonders of competent kickstarters distribution: Eldermancy/Ghostfire Gaming- sends invalid tracking, no movement in over a month. Hitpoint Press- sends tracking, 12 hours later there notice of clearing customs and transit to a Canadian courier. Sure, customs into Canada is the problem.

First support contact was after Eldermancy posted an update for USA containers arriving July 21. No mention of Canadian. No official update since Aug 3. Last contact had a non-answer on Aug 14. Still no valid tracking or info. Yeah. This was an expensive lesson of who not to deal with in future

Still no movement on the Eldermancy kickstarter book after a month of no valid tracking, no movement, no updates. Last contact with @ghostfiregaming.bsky.social was 8 days ago where they were “waiting to hear back” for Canadian shipments. For reference, the invalid tracking was received on July 17

Hi, thank you for the reply. I did that on July 23 and was told “it may still be with customs.” As this was the kickstarter, active updates from Eldermancy did not acknowledge the Canadian orders or provide updates on the Canadian info.

My ‘friends’ at the time who made damn sure I ‘understood’ how I was wrong for doing so and should never express dissatisfaction with them, specifically, (despite an anonymous media, apparently if they thought it was about them, it was about them) were and are just assholes.

Took 20 years and a good therapist to get me accepting that there was nothing wrong with writing down or processing my failing mental health in journals and under otherwise anonymous media. That venting in a manner I best associated with was a normal, healthy, coping strategy I needed at the time.
