I HATED those saturated pinks! Impossible. I have a garbage Dell ultrawide monitor, and my eyes are going, but being able to see the line wasn't always that hard.

My score on the colors-test was 0.0039, which is OK

I don't know what will transpire from this, but this is the program I've been using to develop better reverbs for years now, and now that I've got 6x6 verbs happening I see no reason why others shouldn't make these too. Here's the info on how to do them.

Simple examples of Householder matrices in 2x2, 3x3, 4x4, 5x5 and 6x6 forms. 4x4 is notable for having all the amplitudes be unity gain or inversions, but 6x6 is that or exactly 2X gain, which in Airwindows terms is 'bit shift gain' or a simple exponent shift without altering the floating point mantissa or requantizing.

I look forward to exploring them." They add, "I'm repulsed by AI in its current form. The overall concept is wonderful, but greed is currently eclipsing AI's mostly untapped problem-solving potential."

Shown beneath is a screenshot of my interface as a video creator, with two one-click buttons for AI suggested responses. The first one says "It's not good that it's that way now, but I think that's changing. I'm not against it as long as the people building it are nice…" and the second button says "Yeah, I don't think it's too late for things to change for the better. I think we can create a more ethical and beneficial AI. We've just gotta try to get through these greedy times."

I might add that nothing I have ever said in comments reflects these responses: they are purely propagandizing, I am in fact repulsed by AI in this form, I don't think it's changing, and I don't think the people are nice. And watching them try to put words in my mouth to co-opt my position, makes me worry again: how long until they begin responding AS me without my consent, using this tool, and not only writing my remarks but clicking the button for me to enlist my aid in what I do not want? Beware.

Tada! Now I have a 'mix check' speaker which uses a very decent Class D tiny amp and decent battery charging and volume controls, but it drives a real Auratone (the reissue, not a vintage one) with the mono signal you'd want to use. Very convenient, and it'll do Bluetooth if you want, too :)

Back of the new mix check speaker. The front looks just like a reissue Auratone, because it is. Works great, hasn't blown up from an impedance mismatch or anything! The Auratone can be put back, the Onn can't produce enough power to hurt it, and I'm saving the back plate just in case. Or I could cheaply replace the Onn and be back in business :)

Solder the wires together and put shrink-tubing on to prevent anything shorting, and drill holes in the awful-speaker, which is a tenth the cost of the Auratone. Save the back plate off the Auratone just in case, reuse the screw holes for the bigger screws so you could put it all back if needed.

Once the wires are soldered you can attach the Onn to the back of the Auratone with just two screws, and screw holes that go the only places they can go, blank spaces in the Onn chassis to either side of the battery. Do not drill through the battery or the circuit board or the Onn will be ruined or possibly blow up! :)

Once you take the grille off you can get at the tiny screws, and get the speaker top off the (intact) electronics. The big drywall screws are for holding that part on firmly.

There are black and red wires for both the Auratone (much heavier!) and the Onn, where it used to connect to its own tiny speaker driver.

I needed to make a new track for tomorrow's plugin video so instead I combined Venus Theory's awful-speaker with the classic Auratone so it's as convenient to use as Venus's tiny portable speaker is :)

An Auratone speaker with an 'Onn' tiny bluetooth speaker disassembled on top of it. Wires are sticking out of both, and the discarded parts of both are also there.

Funny you should mention it: it's been years I've been trying to get this together, and one direction I explored was brushed aluminum cases, painted and lacquered. No knobs or internal trimpots, just a nice footswitch, and the rest like this. Technically it's grey! Working on the brushed look.

A tiny aluminum box, with 'CJ' painted in the bottom corner, and lacquered over. The surface is brushed aluminum, done with a sort of sanding block that's coarse but still on the ultra-fine end as far as a brushed aluminum finish goes. You can just barely see the directional lines but mostly it looks like an aluminum Hammond enclosure that's a bit more shiny.

I still have eggs! This time I added a mini croissant toasted at the same time as finishing the omelet. A store I go to in Keene sometimes has incredibly good croissants :) boursin cheese makes it a teeny sammich!

Got eggs, made morning omelet :9 Made like Julia Child will teach you, in the flippity style without any spatula or anything like that. I can tell how I'm doing by how well the omelet comes out, it rarely comes out terrible so it's 'how best to make the perfect little oval shape'.

If I'm Rammstein, why am I not on fire

YouTube screenshot stating that my raw drum track plus the plugin Hypersoft at 16:50 to 17:00 are Das Alte Leid by Rammstein, therefore the video cannot be monetized and its ad revenue is paid to Rammstein (or the copyright owner). It is not a copyright strike. The section, which won't be removed, is not in fact Das Alte Leid. It is two room mics, me playing drums okay but not professionally well, and the free plugin Hypersoft with no other processing at all. I am surprised that YouTube considered this to be the same as a commercially produced, mixed and mastered track by a well-respected metal band, but here we are.
