M12Sp2 was good, but listening to the song and thinking back to the story cutscene after defeating the boss' regular form I cannot help feeling like a "final exam boss" where you need to execute (combined?) mechanics from the previous fights to charge a special LB would have been much more fitting.

Not at all. I'm not sure what it would actually sound like, but his native language has been dead for thousands of years and his restricted Echo didn't do him any favours in learning the sounds of modern languages. Aion on the other hand sounds no different from other voiced ancients.

I did meet people who gave me the strength to get away from that person, though those connections didn't exactly end well for me, and I'm still trying to find my place as someone who enjoys the story and the raiding both, but must play under conditions that most would balk at.
