White background with black text and art
Each corner has botanical embellishment
Text reads
“Anarcho-individualism and nihilism, the fates of the new anarchy, invite us. In the era of generalized crisis, the sun of the new anarchy continues to rise. Now that the global economy is ill, we do not look for the “just” social cute, but on the contrary we seek the poison for its final death.”
-Conspiracy of Cells of Fire
Below text is image of black wolf with white text that reads:

Talarico supports a nation wide ban on youth healthcare and as a canadian trans woman I think anyone calling for murdering the youngest members of my community in their country should listen to Lynch's advice about their heart. You think dead trans people is more acceptable than us saying fuck off.

We have no money. You know this. Why do you keep asking why we’re not doing things we used to do? It’s because we have no money. We. Have. No. Money. We have no money. There is no money left. It’s all gone. None of us have it. No money. Nope. Money gone. We don’t have it. No.

The thing about discourse is, what you say (right wrong or somewhere in between) doesn't matter. What matters is who has a gun to your head.

Oscar Neebe was the only haymarket defendant who wasn't sentenced to death for the crime of working for an anarchist newspaper. He was also one of the only American-born defendants. He said to the court that he wished to be hanged alongside his comrades.

Adolph Fischer was hanged for the crime of editing an anarchist newspaper. He told the court: "I was tried here in this room for murder, and I was convicted of Anarchy. I protest against being sentenced to death, because I have not been found guilty of murder.

Louis Lingg was the youngest haymarket defendant. He had a watertight alibi: he couldn't have thrown the bomb, because he'd been at home with his friends making bombs. He spoke to the court with nothing but contempt. He told them:

George Engel was the oldest of the Haymarket defendants, but one of the most radical. He wasn't on speaking terms with some of the moderate anarchists with whom he would soon share a gallows. He was a German immigrant toymaker, gentle and honest.

August Spies was one of the "moderate" anarchists, the editor of a newspaper whose title translated simply to Worker's Paper. He worked 12-16 hours a day on that newspaper, fighting for the eight hour day for everyone else. He kept a circle bomb on his desk in the office.

Albert Parsons stood out from his defenants. He was American born. At 13 he'd run away to join the Confederate army, and after the war he dedicated his life to undoing the evil he'd helped promote. He was shot for trying to register black voters in Texas.

Sam Fielden gave the speech that was used to justify the police crackdown at the first May Day rally in 1886. He was a weaver and a stone-cutter, who'd started working at 8 years old in England. He'd been a Methodist preacher, who moved to the US south to preach in support of Black rights.

It's wild how getting a text from a girl you have a gigantic crush on turns "fuck my shitty life" to "ya know what, things aren't so bad." To be fair I do crush unbelievably hard and like, have the emotional rollercoaster to prove it. But at least I'm now on the part where you're going up.

Sure 300 characters is a nice round number or whatever, but tbh if the limit is smaller than the average poem (and 300 characters certainly is) then what are you even doing? (This point brought to you by me wanting to post a poem and then deciding not to because it felt wrong to fragment it)

Gotta say, it's really a bummer having no money to give to people when half my feed is people like me in worse situations who need a bit of money. In such cases, giving folks money for urgent needs on the Internet is more DIY charity than "mutual aid", but that concept got firmly liberalised

I'm generally a social media disliker, but the thing that I think really gets me is how it impacts everything else. The previous social control mechanism par excelence, TV, looks almost tame in comparison, insofar as it's effects on the social machinery of western societies.

I find posting mostly pointless buuut, in a bid to give myself something fun to do I started writing like a series of YA stories that's basically "what if trans buffy the vampire slayer without the annoyingly very white cast, and with (almost) no men". So far just for fun but we'll see.

Earlier this year I got briefly obsessed with a character from Greek mythology, Tiresias, the blind soothsayer of Thebes who features in nearly every play and story about that city in the ancient greek corpus. The reason for this obsession? For seven years, Tiresias was a woman.

A comic. #comics #frenchsterotype
Two men stand facing each other, on of the men is dressed in a stereotype of Frenchness, turtleneck, berret, thin moustache, smoking a cigarette. The other man has his hand on the French sterotype's shoulder, and the French stereotype has his arms crossed and looks petulant. The typical man has a speech bubble over his head which says 'I know that visiting france "changed your life" but you're taking it too far Michael.
The French stereotype responds 'I told you! It's "Marcel" now!"

I feel like "normal people" (whatever that means) are just really good at keeping their mouths shut when they're being exploited. Or like, I've been in so many situations where all of us are getting fucked over, and somehow I'm the only one who's pissed off enough to speak up or whatever

I'm generally not very online, so I kinda think cringe isn't a real thing (or is so subjective to effectively be meaningless) so it's not so much try hard embarrassment. Maybe it's the weird class implications of art, a high end product for the rich, produced primarily by "starving artists"
