The independence movement must unite. It's time to set aside egos and disagreements. A convention and a civic campaign organisation with a code of conduct as its foundation is essential.

Independence for the vast majority has never been about replacing one flag with another. It's about building a better, more just society that works for the people, not for the elites. This vision does not include weapons that can vaporize the human race. Bairns not bombs!

Relying on imported oil and gas instead of developing our own resources does nothing to help the planet. The government’s revenue from new oil and gas should be invested in a green tech startup fund, positioning Scotland as a leader in environmental sustainability.

This is what a colonial economy looks like. All Scottish electricity sold to Europe goes via England. Resource extraction with no direct route to market via infrastructure not owned by the nation. All prices and market access controlled by another nation. It's the colonial full house.

The independence movement needs to rediscover its anti-establishment spirit or lose people to the likes of Reform. While political parties chase the centre ground, the movement must offer a place for those left behind by the establishment centre.
