Emily Hawgood and Marianne Hogan split Foresthill to Cal-2 almost exactly the same, Emily in 1:09:55, and Marianne 1:09:57. For reference, Katie Schide did that section in 1:06:07 last year and Courtney Dauwalter did this section in 1:08:41 during 2023 States. #canyonsbyutmb

Jim waxes the field at Chianti Castles Ultra Trail, with a near 30-minute win over Kiki and Vincent, although Kilian was clearly working through some injury concerns for a good part of the race. What a race. Heal up Kilian! States is going to absolutely RIP. #utmbworldseries

This year’s Ultra Trail Chianti Castles 120k is the first time we’ve had three former UTMB Champions face off in a race since UTMB 2021, which featured Francois, Ludo and Xavier. Prior to that, it would’ve been UTMB 2017, with Kilian, Francois and Xavier. #utmbworldseries

A fun run is a strong possibility for Tomo; he's roughly in the same spot as he was in 2019 which resulted in a fun run as well #bm100
