If you are at all interested in video game preservation, particularly for MMOs and online games, this is a must-watch. Yuvi's mission to rebuild Tales of Eternia Online is one of the coolest ongoing preservation projects out there – it's still in its infancy, but the tools are already mind blowing.

I feel obligated to mention that the song is named "A Pirate's Adventure" by its composer, Ishimoto. "Free as the Wind" is a fan-name from before the album came out with the official tracklist But regardless, good picks! Lots of fun stuff going on in the Caribbean music

I don't think I could pick anything other than "The Silent Forest". A perfect mood setter and a crazy strong first impression for BBS ("Forest of Thorns" from 0.2 might have it beat, but that version's only half Disney) youtu.be/w7XhKdueJMQ?...

I teamed up with translator Tetralesca to patch the original Kingdom Hearts coded demo episode into English! This 15-minute adventure has a unique story that wasn't carried over into Re:coded. Play it at keitaiarchive.org. I'm working on a full breakdown and behind-the-scenes video, so stay tuned!

Hercules, Phil, and Sora stand in the coliseum.
Phil: "Herc! Where on earth have you been?"

"A forbidden secret—

After his journey with Sora came to
an end, Jiminy found a mysterious
message in his journal that he
didn't remember writing.

"Their hurting will be mended
when you return to end it."

The King digitizes Jiminy's journal,
starting Sora's new journey in the
datascape."

(...and more of that new trailer track by Shotaro Shima.) Strange that KHχ music is used for introducing both Sora VAs, considering that's the game Sora has the least connection to... But there's clearly an intent to use music from the most recent album, at least

Kameoka posted about Reality in the Dark on her twitter (not sure about the LP credits, but it's likely). The ML Dearly Beloved was on Takeoka's professional website portfolio. And the most recent one isn't confirmed, just speculation from David, Kinode, and I based on the instrumentation

The first KH4 trailer music (Reality in the Dark) was arranged by Natsumi Kameoka. The KHML trailer (DB) was arranged by Tomomichi Takeoka. Speculated that the new KH4 trailer music is by Shotaro Shima. Interesting new direction! It's also the first time KH has ever had unique music for trailers

"Why are all these MOBILE GAME characters in my KH4 trailer?!?" Maybe it's because the mobile games are the only part of this franchise keeping character design alive? In the past 15 years, how many actually new characters have we had outside of the mobile games? Basically none!

New KH characters since BBS (2010):

Non-Mobile Games: Yozora, Nameless Star, (kinda Young Xehanort)

Mobile Games: Darkness, Gula, Ava, Aced, Ira, Invi, Luxu, the Master of Masters, Ephemer, Player, Skuld, Brain, Strelitzia, Sigurd, Chirithy, Odin, Hermod, Bragi, Urd, Vor, Baldr, Heimdall, Helgi, Hoder, Sigrun, Vala, Vali, Vidar

I don't find this assessment to be likely. If nomura drew this, then he'd have each of these layers separately drawn anyway, wouldn't have drawn it in this aspect ratio if it was a box cover, and Mickey's standing on the rocky terrain that is placed at the bottom in the landscape version.
