Some smocking is done with non-stretch threads, and some with elastic. Since it is the waist, it is likely elastic, and that would typically be an okay amount to stretch. The hip measure is likely close to the completely stretched size of the waist. Look at the fabric content for "elastine" etc.

My job offer was from a scammer. The theme of this month continues. I'm not sure what their end goal was, but they sent me a picture of a check to "purchase training equipment", so I sought a secondary source of HR's contact info, and they'd never heard of me.

My brother and I watched The Lighthouse, uh, a little Welsh bottle movie about why lighthouses were changed to have a minimum staff of three. I just searched and picked the movie with the title. I was expecting Willam Defoe to pop up in the corner any second now. It was very suspenseful.

This law they are reacting to was specifically crafted to limit childrens' access to information on lgbtq and racial issues and sex education. Arkansans believe it is a pilot program for the rest of the country. Theories aside, it would have killed my interest in the library to have these limits.

I guess I crochet now. Here's a t-shirt finished. I'll update with the pattern author as soon as I remember it. Yarn is knitpicks comfy, which I don't like, but it has the benefit of going on sale for $1.50 from time to time. Midnight Heather and ?Light Shell?.

I wear a crochet t-shirt in vertical stripes. The color transitions from solid light pink in the center to sold black at the sides. The shirt has lots of black buttons and is on the edge of too small.

Okay, a school bus just crashed in my yard. Most important details: no passengers, driver alert, already called 911, and they are getting her out of the bus. Ran across yard a couple of times to get shovels because we had to dig the bottom of the door out of yard, and now I'm all wound up.
