Children have a right to be heard. A future Crimes Against Humanity Convention should also make it clear that children can be victims and witnesses, and must have access to court proceedings and reparations in ways that are tailored to their age.

Impact of the pause of U.S. foreign assistance on the HIV response in Cameroon
PEPFAR supports 38% of the country's HIV programme. With the funding pause: 
- 2332 health personnel could lose their jobs
- 347 clinics may have to close
- essential medicines, viral load testing, and PrEP supplies are at riskA national mitigation plan is being developed to find sustainable, immediate, medium and long-term actions. A directive has been issued to ensure all health authorities keep HIV, TB, and malaria services running. Authorities are reallocating health personnel and readjusting workload to fill the gaps of more than 2300 personnel who were under PEPFAR funding. Negotiations are underway with other partners to secure alternative financial support.UNAIDS is working closely with the Government of Cameroon, communities, and all partners to monitor the impact. UNAIDS is meeting with civil society organizations and networks of people living with HIV to gather information, assess the situation on the ground, and identify solutions.
