Sadly, I lost my Zero Company Beskar save and am starting over. But I'm really happy with the revisions I've made to my Hawks. Headcanon wise he is the child of a twilek and a human so he has eyebrows and freckles, and I'm intentionally keeping clothes for Zcom very casual until *plot* happens.

I'm playing Zero Company on Beskar (Iron Man) mode, and just finished a brutal mission that got a new recruit (who now that I think about it was wearing a red shirt) killed permanently, and only succeeded due to Trick and a medic called Phelan. Guess which two people are hanging out when I get back?

This is unsubstantiated but I hold it true that the sort Car People of prior decades who just loved Tinkering with a Machine have been replaced as cars became more complicated and impossible to Tinker With effectively by PC People who love Tinkering With A Machine.

First game in my local #trenchcrusade group's Carcass Front campaign! My first time taking the Hasdrubael's Thrallband out for a spin, and although it was a very close run match I lost by one Coveted Corpse and Hasdrubael my Praetor got himself Possessed (oops!) I had an absolute blast!

I just discovered that I can custom make Zero Company Operators from the Main Menu and add them to the pool of possible recruits. So either send me pictures of your operators you'd like me to add or pick from these species and give me a basic description and a name and I'll add em to my Zero Company

A list of species available: Clone, Devaronian, Human, Mirialan, Nemoidian, Ovissian, Rodian, Togruta, Twilek, Weequay, and Zabrak.

I think the internet has really given a lot of people a Sadly skewed perspective on getting good at things. You can watch all the technique videos, get all the fanciest tools, know all the theory of a thing and the reality is that you will still suck at it wheb you actually do it AND THAT'S OK.

A reminder from my life if you own a gaming pc - check your CPU temps occasionally and make sure you don't need to clean off and apply new thermal paste! I was getting temps of 85-100C running Zero Company with clean system fans all working properly, and after a paste refresh we're at 45-80°C. 🌡

Maybe I'm alone in this, but having played Red Dead Redemption 2 as many times as I have has really soured me on the ending of Red Dead 1. It makes sense as the narrative conclusion of John's (extremely short) character arc in 1, but is just crushingly depressing after his arc through 2.

I'm not an expert on game design by any stretch, but I do think that because D&D is such a large chunk of the ttrpg world it's attracted a large audience of players with varying degrees of tolerance for friction. Resourcr management is sort of inherently friction, and some players hate that.

I'm only 1/3 of the way through The Stand but I think there is a case to be made that Dutch Van Der Linde from Red Dead is what you get if Randall Flagg buys into his own bullshit and really, actually thinks he's doing the right thing. (Although its debatable that he stops that as RDR2 goes on).
