futurism.com/future-socie... lol

As one New York financier told Financial Times journalist Gillian Tett, new hires who were seen as “AI natives” are turning out to have alarmingly shallow ideas. So much so, the anonymous finance worker admitted, that his firm now actively avoids seeking out AI-literate STEM graduates, and opts to comb through humanities students instead.

An Orc Commander and a Jotunborn Guardian fiercely approach battle, weapons clad, with the text "Battlecry!" in the bottom right corner.

I announced on stream, but I'll also let anyone who missed it know here as well (alt text included)

1) There will be no livestreams for the entirety of February, as I will be on vacation in japan once again. I have no plans to make any videos about it.

2) A few videos WILL be coming out during the month however, as they have been in a backlog for some time now and just need some final touches to be complete

3) When I return to livestreaming in March (and if not then, April), I will be streaming Monster Hunter Wilds, but not any story/urgent quest based content. In fact, I may reconsider story-heavy games for live streams, as I sometimes worry they result in streams where I have to suppress interaction for the sake of either the game's story, or my enjoyment of it, which I feel results in less audience interaction, and defeats the purpose of a livestream. I do thank everyone who has an interest in tuning in regardless of the content of the streams themselves, but it's a direction I've considered changing for a while now

4) I wanted to thank you all so much. It may just be my exhausted brain writing this, but I'm so grateful to all of you not only for supporting me all these years by watching my videos, but also stupid long-ass streams like the one I just did, as well as being cool when I take breaks, be it the one I'm taking in February, or the hiatus I took in 2024. It's a kindness that I can never truly repay, but even so I hope to try my best to anyway.

I love you all
happy new year

Thank you for being here, for existing in the same moment as me. Through all the struggles & difficulties, I'm sure we'll be able to overcome anything together. Just like how you believe in me, I'll believe in you too. We're a team after all & it wouldn't be the same without you! #FFXIV #FF14
