I'm gonna be real with yall, if you're using ai to make your thumbnails, I'm gonna unfollow you. It takes me maybe 5 minutes to make my thumbnails and I barely have to try. Like...come on...and btw it's very obvious when you use it, so there's no denying it.

I was genuinely asking the question because the only thing I find on the internet is that it is basically a slur from the original.... I assumed there was a better explanation for it than that as it seems a little unlikely given the good night, good morning etc haven't been slurred into something else too. Sorry if you saw that as offensive.

So...now that it's coming out that the bluesky engineers have been heavily using ai to build the site for a while now, and they've developed their own ai bot...what are we gonna do? I haven't really seen another platform to migrate to...and X is pretty much out of the question...I'm tired boss

Today's verses are from Proverbs 12. Context in alt text.

Proverbs 12:1-10 (NKJV) reads:

Whoever loves instruction loves knowledge, But he who hates correction is stupid. A good man obtains favor from the Lord, But a man of wicked intentions He will condemn. A man is not established by wickedness, But the root of the righteous cannot be moved. An excellent wife is the crown of her husband, But she who causes shame is like rottenness in his bones. The thoughts of the righteous are right, But the counsels of the wicked are deceitful. The words of the wicked are, “Lie in wait for blood,” But the mouth of the upright will deliver them. The wicked are overthrown and are no more, But the house of the righteous will stand. A man will be commended according to his wisdom, But he who is of a perverse heart will be despised. Better is the one who is slighted but has a servant, Than he who honors himself but lacks bread. A righteous man regards the life of his animal, But the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.

Solomon continues giving contrasts between the wise and the foolish.

Anyone who loves instruction loves knowledge, but the person who hates correction is...well...stupid. A good person finds favor with the Lord, while someone with wicked plans faces condemnation. Wickedness can't give lasting security, but the root of the righteous stands firm. An excellent wife is a crown to her husband; a shameful one is like decay in his bones.

The thoughts of the righteous are right; the advice of the wicked is full of deceit. The wicked plot harm, but the words of the upright can rescue. The wicked are eventually overthrown, while the house of the righteous endures. A person is praised according to their wisdom; a twisted heart is despised. It is better to be overlooked yet have enough than to put on airs and go hungry. A righteous person cares for their animals, but even the “kindness” of the wicked is cruel.

These show that having a teachable spirit, integrity, and genuine care produce a life that lasts.

Proverbs 12:11-20 (NKJV) reads:

He who tills his land will be satisfied with bread, But he who follows frivolity is devoid of understanding. The wicked covet the catch of evil men, But the root of the righteous yields fruit. The wicked is ensnared by the transgression of his lips, But the righteous will come through trouble. A man will be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth, And the recompense of a man’s hands will be rendered to him. The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, But he who heeds counsel is wise. A fool’s wrath is known at once, But a prudent man covers shame. He who speaks truth declares righteousness, But a false witness, deceit. There is one who speaks like the piercings of a sword, But the tongue of the wise promotes health. The truthful lip shall be established forever, But a lying tongue is but for a moment. Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil, But counselors of peace have joy.

Solomon continues.

Hard work on the land brings food; chasing empty pursuits shows a lack of sense. The wicked long for what evil people gain, but the righteous produce lasting fruit. A wicked person’s own words trap them, while the righteous make it through trouble. Good words bring satisfaction, and a person’s actions return to them.

A fool is sure he is always right; the wise person listens to advice. A fool’s anger shows immediately, but a careful person stays calm under pressure. Truthful speech supports what is right; a false witness spreads deceit. Some words cut like a sword, but wise speech brings healing. Truth lasts; lies are temporary. Those who plot evil carry deceit in their hearts, while people who seek peace find joy.

While some may read these and feel attacked, you have to understand that this is meant to steer you away from a life of pain and hardships, if you're willing to listen.

Lastly, Proverbs 12:21-28 (NKJV) reads:

No grave trouble will overtake the righteous, But the wicked shall be filled with evil. Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, But those who deal truthfully are His delight. A prudent man conceals knowledge, But the heart of fools proclaims foolishness. The hand of the diligent will rule, But the lazy man will be put to forced labor. Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, But a good word makes it glad. The righteous should choose his friends carefully, For the way of the wicked leads them astray. The lazy man does not roast what he took in hunting, But diligence is man’s precious possession. In the way of righteousness is life, And in its pathway there is no death.

Solomon continues.

No serious harm permanently overtakes the righteous, but the wicked become full of trouble. Lying lips disgust the Lord, while people who deal honestly please Him. A careful person holds knowledge quietly; fools blurt out foolishness. Diligent hands will lead; the lazy ends up under the control of others.

Anxiety weighs a person down, but a kind word lifts the heart. The righteous should choose their friends carefully because the path of the wicked can ruin lives. A lazy person fails to finish even what they have worked for, while diligence is a true treasure. The way of righteousness leads to life, and that path does not end in death.

Again, these aren't Solomon's way of calling people out. These are to guide you towards living a life that doesn't end in ruin. So, listen if you're willing to.
