AI also made life better for literally everyone: - Faster medical triage - Therapy supplement - Better visuals on cheaper hardware - Faster planning/managing of transportation - Effective networking control plane And I'm only scratching the surface. Oh, and you should have never trusted media.

Well, without a source it's just a rumor/speculation, but. OpenAI recently changed their business model into a nonprofit, and they are nor publicly traded, nor plan to be, so beside something like losing investors or donors, there's not much holding them back.
