I know some of you might look to me for positivity – I apologise in advance. Whilst not scoring is awful I think it's equally as damning that our losses this season have been against sides who didn't even need to perform well (Newcastle, Liverpool & Villa). Aside from Brentford, who were excellent

I do think we are right to expect a little more from Tonali & Fernandes though. So often they pick the safe option, or the touch isn't good enough to keep an attack flowing. Obviously they don't dictate the price tags paid for them but it's in these difficult moments they need to make a difference.

We'll put my thoughts on 'Fletch' to one side, as I'm not sure how the moderation system is on here.. Largely good. Again. Wasteful in the final third. Again. We might be lacking in confidence but some of the technical ability from our forwards is shocking. First touch, passing, movement, etc.

Lamine Yamal has let himself down with those quotes about the Ballon d'Or and an obvious dig at Harry Kane. For a young man who has faced a lot of unnecessary and unwarranted criticism already, he should know better than getting into the football politicking for individual awards.

Spurs pretty decent again. Wasteful, again. Haha. We really need to work on having a settled forward line and letting those relationships develop. It's almost very good but almost is doing some heavy lifting. Beaten by some incredible strikes in the end. Maybe we deserved an equaliser, maybe not.

Archie has done okay at right back but he *has* to play those forward balls to break the line, like Pedro does, or we turn back around and recycle possession.

Spurs pretty good again. Wasteful, again. Senesi rusty, which is why he needs these minutes. Tosin impressive. Some good work in midfield but it breaks down too often in attack, either due to a poor touch or holding onto the ball and missing the pass. 2 great chances to score: 1 saved, 1 missed.

Spurs start quite well, have a great chance to take the lead - matched by a fantastic save. Then a fortunate deflection goes to Mac Allister - brilliant finish - and suddenly the commentator asks if Archie Gray should be Tottenham captain. It's such lazy, lazy narratives.

I sympathise with United fans over the offside goal yesterday, as the ones I follow are good folk, but it also felt like karma for all of Neville's biased commentary & him always wanting to set the narrative about certain players and decisions. Kinda channeled some inner Cartman versus Scott vibes.
