Garment workers and leaders from Indonesia continue to stand in solidarity with Pushpalatha and garment workers everywhere. The message to Brandix and Victoria's Secret remains the same 11 months after Pushpalatha's death: no more secrets, no more lies, value workers’ lives! Global Labor Justice

So where is the accountability? Where is the engagement with workers and their representatives? What has changed in the supply chain to prevent another worker from facing the same danger?

Since March, U.S. labour allies have delivered workers’ demands directly to Victoria’s Secret. AFWA, @globallaborjustice.bsky.social and the Commercial and Industrial Workers' Union (CIWU) have taken Pushpalatha's case to shareholders.

Victoria's Secret claims to have supplier standards. Brandix claims to have occupational health and safety systems. Nearly a year after Pushpalatha’s death, the question is no longer whether their standards and systems exist on paper. The question is what those policies have actually delivered.
