When I say I'm really struggling in the editing of The Last Walkers- It looks a lot like this [pic]. Each of the 14 'pages' contains multiple dozens of items to review. And without fail, editing one part means 5 other things screw up. I promise, this WILL get finished...

A OneNote file open with 14 pages of editorial to-do lists, hundreds of items that each need attending and that each rely on other elements of the game rules being written.

When writing rules for a table top RPG, how pedantic is too pedantic? How finely stipulated should the rules be while trying also to offer as much player agency as possible? The work on The Last Walkers revision is taking me forever!

Well that was a painful waste of a day, it turns out Kickstarter is NOT the right platform to find funding to get my game defragg.err onto Steam. I still need to raise cash though to get it done. I am dismayed and feeling a bit pooped.

Thanks to what I can only attribute as latent ADHD, I have done ANYTHING ELSE other than completing the editing of The Last Walkers. I've set up an entire Kickstarter, painted models, created assets and doomscrolled over three days. Only 1 section of the to-do list on the editorial is checked. 😵

Good news (for me...) I'm done with the edit pass of The Last Walkers! I need to do a little more artwork, finish exactly 1 page of content and it's 'ready' to go! Hooray! It's only taken me about 2 months. All that work, and I doubt I'll even sell 1 more copy... But at least I did it. [1/2]

As I'm struggling to edit down my current WIP game rules, I wish I could turn off the perfectionism. But I deeply worry: "will people understand this?..." I'm currently stressing over use of semi-colons --- that probably wont make a blind bit of difference, but I need them to be right. 😖
