A Twitter post by ‘Nyanomancer’ showing an image from E33 of newspapers on the wall - two images, one in the original post and one in a quote of that post, with the original post having text that is distorted and unreadable. The original post says “Correct me if I’m wrong, but it appears as though Clair Obscure: Expedition 33 used generative AI for these textures.” The quote post says “Excellent, the AI generated textures in Clair Obscur were indeed placeholders and were replaced with custom assets. The other AI generated poster that was present in the starting area (don’t have a screenshot of it now) was also removed.”

hmm This seems the most likely bit that could allow that but I’m not sure. The whole ‘it’s illegal so it’s fine to not allow’ excuse could be used with this wording I think but that may already be an issue?

EXCERPT FROM THE BILL:
(B) may not deny any person a financial service the covered bank offers unless the denial is justified by such quantified and documented failure of the person to meet quantitative, impartial risk-based standards established in advance by the covered bank;
(C) may not deny, in coordination with or at the request of others, any person a financial service the covered bank offers; and
(D) shall, when denying any person financial services to the covered bank offers, provide written justification to the person explaining the basis for the denial, including any specific laws or regulations the covered bank believes are being violated by the person or customer, if any.
(2) JUSTIFICATION REQUIREMENT — A justification described in paragraph (1)(D) may not be based solely on the reputational risk to the covered bank.
