Stayed on Myk for a week in 2019. It was in May so quiet. Stayed in town for 2 nights which was fine & then spent 5nts at a small beach place only 6km out of the town. It was mostly empty with just two tavernas. Both were excellent. This shows how busy it was about 7.30pm as the sun set one night.

Mrs. M has womanfully de-wallpapered the downstairs loo & got the awkward venetian blind down. I helped as best I could with my dodgy finger following derma treatment. I booked flights to Mykonos for next April. We'll be staying on Tinos for 6nts then the last night on Mykonos. She's now in the 🛀! 👀

We stayed with mates in Kensington on Sunday night. Monday morning the little green blighters were all over the trees in their garden. I rather like them but our pals hate 'em cos of the mess that they make all over the lawn and the garden furniture.

Our neighbours say they have them but I'm not sure they are correct. 40 miles south of London we are. This one turned up in Amsterdam recently. Made from over 500 pieces of porcelain. It is a symbol of welcome to new residents. Not sure why. 🤷

We were at Ronnie Scott's on Sunday. Mates had bought tix for us to see the house band called the Blues Explosion. They were really good, fronted by Marcus who was fab. We'd not heard of him but did a search and he did indeed front TYA, for about 10 years funnily enough. We had a great night. 👍

Here she is in a famous church in a village near us called Tudeley. We took her there earlier this year as she has an interest in art & architecture. There is a piano there that visitors are welcome to play if there is not a service happening. The stained glass windows were all designed by Chagall.

Youngest's Dutch GF is a classically trained pianist among other things. They are at Warsaw Airport waiting for a flight to Romania. There is a piano in the terminal. If there's a piano she'll have a go! She gave it a tinkle!! She's a bit good I think. Chopin? 🎹

Very exciting MW! Youngest, the Amsterdam one, has been in Warsaw for a few days with his GF. Catching up with mate there who was at Utrecht Uni with him. Son & GF fly from there to Brasov, which is to the south of Bucharest, this afternoon. I hope they have your luck. Soft landing MW!

7th December 1941 mostly. Also we landed there once (1986?) enroute from London to Sydney via San Francisco. Didn't even get out of the plane in Honolulu. It was the middle of the night. Saw nothing.

Knuckle was treated 3 yrs ago but it's come back a bit! "Bowen's disease is a very early, slow-growing form of skin cancer confined to the outermost layer of the skin that appears as a persistent red, scaly patch."

Fingers smarts with a "finger bob" over it today. Went to dermatology appt yesterday for a tiny bump on my cheek just below my left eye. Going back in December for a biopsy. While there he zapped the knuckle of my left index☝️cos it needed it with a huge hit of liquid nitrogen. Still stinging today!
