100% to all of this! The driveways to the Boss plaza seem to me to be an obvious place for the bike lane to be raised and continuous. Westbound I don’t even ride in the bike lane until I’m past them, it’s *so* rough to go over all the curb cuts.

The bajillion driveways is wild, and I would *love* to have any councillors or planners or anyone in charge of making the curb cuts take a ride in the bucket of my bike and see if they can keep their lunch down as we go over a curb every 2-15ft. Also, the pole. Good lord…

It’s probably not great for cyclists of all stripes, but it is especially sucky when you have a heavy bike with a bucket full of kids and skating equipment. Bonus: A second stoplight at the top of a steep hill further on!

The Dutch Village bike lanes are appreciated on my now several-times-per-week trips to Centennial Arena, but man, do they ever disappear right when you’ve got your bike pointed straight up a steep hill and could really use the buffer! #hfxbike

So much fun (and such beautiful weather!) for today’s #KidicalMassHfx! A friend who has been meaning to come for a while made it today with her partner and wee one, and they had a wonderful time. Huge thanks to the organizers and marshals, who made this joy and freedom possible for our kids!
