The two XIV Mini Figure blind boxes I preordered finally arrived in the mail... and I pulled not one but TWO Meteions! The odds are this happening are just 4%. HOLY HELL! 😭♥️ I'M SO HAPPY!!! 🥰🥰 Bird daughters have finally returned home! 🐦

Even Meteion understands the importance of the matter. If the charybdis has no one around to care for it, it likely will not be able to survive without the ability of flight in the wild (ie: to obtain food or escape danger). As you can see, community care is vital

When Hermes states he will transform to help the creature fly, he follows up that any shame related to transforming would pale in comparison to the struggle of creatures with lowered quality of life

A reminder that in the face of society's opposition where imperfect beings are easily discarded, Hermes stood his ground and declared that disabled lives matter and are worth protecting #HermesXIV #FFXIV #AerXIV #Disability

The second screenshot is dialogue from Hermes who is replying directly to the Troubled Observer's suggestion. He is speaking about creatures who are unable to function as they were intended, such as the charybdis being unable to fly. Hermes states, "these creatures are already here. We will spare no effort in giving them a chance to survive."

The abrupt imagery caused Amon's heart to leap in his chest — quite a peculiar reaction to experience for one wholly incorporeal. The elezen brought a hand up to his mask in disbelief. It was the self-same girl in the memory who now stood before him — an avian creation constructed of dynamis from his past life. She grew more familiar and yet Amon still did not understand. After a pause he breathed out incredulously, voice barely above a whisper. "Meteion… is that really you?"
