there actually is a pattern many psychologists have even observed where when someone is abused in a particular way if those around them or society acts like it's no big deal it increases the odds they will do the same to someone else. this is particularly true of SA and DV.

if i could have any set of superpowers i'd want the ability to sense and heal any ailment in anyone, to put up an impenetrable shield, remote viewing, and to open temporary stable wormholes. to be able to get into a place safely, make everyone there safe, heal them, and get them out of harm's way.

throughout history whenever a people have been defined as criminal for what they are born as it has generally meant that the crimes they are accused of by default are actually more likely to be done to them, and often that they themselves are less likely to do them than be victims of them.

he's right you know. systemic misandry is why nearly half of men and males are rape victims by the time they leave college and domestic violence against men and males is treated as a joke, but when survivors seek aid they are treated as abusers. this alienates people and pushes them towards that.

hypocrisy has always been a major pet peeve of mine, particularly the type of hypocrisy where someone is rightfully against one group of people being mistreated in any particular sort of way but then turns around and insists on not just doing the same to another but celebrating the harm they do.

ideally there should be laws against changing the user agreement after the fact, making it so long or convoluted it's unreasonable for anyone to read it, or having anything in it that just goes beyond anything reasonable. to my knowledge there are not.
