Myrrh if she looked outside
drawing of Myrrh in the style of Look Outside. She's merged with her desk chair and computer monitor, her arms and legs becoming the arms and legs of the chair, and her face has extruded to connect with the front of the monitor. She has a lot more faces than normal, in places they shouldn't be.Same as the last drawing but with a dialogue box added. 'Yeah...' Myrrh says. 'I was refreshing my notifications over and over when the power went out, and I saw a light from the window reflected in my monitor. We can still be friends, right?' the dialogue options are 'Sure?', 'Uhh...', '(Attack!)', and '(Leave.)'

Shen draws a figure with a shovel next to a flourishing plant, and a figure with a spear calling down a bolt of lightning. 'Billions of artifacts left behind by people from ancient times have provided us with a window into what types of magic used to exist, and how they were used. And, thanks to these artifacts, varieties of magic that would otherwise have gone extinct can still be used today!' She draws a picture of shelves stacked with artifacts, and continues: 'Plus, thanks to the work of artifact libraries and magic preservationists, people will still be able to use these ancient varieties of magic millions of years from now.''And that's what I do!' Shen exclaims, pointing excitedly to herself. 'I collect and appraise magic artifacts, and then I send the ones we don't need to artifact libraries across Aesungaia and Kae Tugaal.' She clutches an artifact to her chest and continues, looking away: 'I hope to open a library of my own someday, specializing in transformation magic. That way, other people like me -- people who want to change their bodies --''--can just go to the library and change themselves, instead of having to go on a sixty year scavenger hunt like I did.'Shen pauses, and looks at her notes. '...Anyway, that's everything I had written down,' She says. A sociability meter appears next to her, nearly empty, slowly depleting. She pauses again, awkwardly standing in silence as her sociability meter decreases to nothing. '...write them down and ask some other time, because I really want to go home right now,' she concludes with a smile.

Someone on tumblr asked about shen's bed-to-plushie ratio (which is described in her character bio as "dire") so I made this helpful diagram. About 30% of her bed's surface area is plushie territory, but she insists it's okay because she's 5 ft tall and sleeps scrunched up
hastily-doodled diagram of Shen's bed, showing 30% of it being taken up by plushies. A pink outline of Shen curled up on her side barely fits in the remaining space.

"Objectively"
1st panel of a 4-panel comic. Myrrh is sitting at a table drawing when she is approached by some manner of repellent homunculus, with a gigantic mouth and a t-shirt that reads 'Art Has Rules'. The homunculus screams: 'Any deviation from my narrow stylistic preferences is objectively poor craftsmanship!!!'Panel 2. without looking up from her drawing, Myrrh reaches over her shoulder to hand the homunculus a bright-yellow book. 'Hold this?' Myrrh says.Panel 3. The book is one of those brightly-colored square children's books with rounded corners and thick cardboard pages. It's titled 'The Difference Between Fact and Opinion - and other lessons for 6-year-olds that are typically learned by 6-year-olds when they are 6 years old'Panel 4. the book shoots out a beam of light that melts the repellent homunculus's face off like that scene in 'Raiders of the Lost Ark'

Someone on tumblr almost asked me about the burrito so I took the opportunity to elaborate on the burrito even though that's not what they asked. This is one of my real-life favorite foods, which, for soon-to-be-obvious reasons, I have dubbed "The Burrito That Makes You Have To Go To Bed":

thought about my video game preferences for too long and started making flowcharts
Flow chart titled 'Is it possible for me to enjoy your game's combat?'
the first bubble says 'Am I selecting actions from a menu or hotbar as my primary method of interaction?' if the answer is no, the path concludes: 'It is within the realm of possibility that I will find your combat fun'. if the answer was yes instead, it leads to another bubble, which reads: 'Is your combat turn-based, or real-time', the three possible answers to which are 'real-time', 'turn-based', or 'both/neither'. If you answer 'real-time', the path concludes: 'It is very nearly impossible that I will find your combat fun'. The other two answers instead both point to the earlier conclusion of 'It is within the realm of possibility that I will find your combat fun'.Another chart, titled 'What is your game's primary focus?' The first bubble says: 'Is your game primarily PvP or PvE?' The possible responses are 'PvP', 'PvE (single-player)', and 'PvE (co-op)'. If you answer 'PvP', the path concludes: 'I probably will not even try your game'. If you answer 'PvE (single-player)', the path concludes: 'Ok!'. If you answer 'PvE (co-op)', the path concludes: 'thank you thank you thank you', over and over again, the thank yous overflowing out of the box and spilling off the bottom of the image.Another chart, titled 'How aposematic is your game?' The first bubble reads: 'Is your game a free-to-play live-service game?' If you answer 'no', the path concludes: 'You have my attention'. If you answer 'yes', the path concludes: 'I have already exited out of
your game because your main menu looks poisonous. I don't even have to add any other branches to the chart about your FOMO bullshit or your vapid gameplay or your exploitative monetization because the menu thing alone is disqualifying enough. Seriously, looking at your menu stresses me out so much I feel like I'm looking at pinterest or a fandom wiki or a sketchy download website with my adblocker turned off. Your menu makes me feel like I need to run a virus scan on my computer'Another chart, titled 'This one's a joke but only kind of'.
The first bubble reads 'Is your game Monster Hunter?'
The possible responses are 'Yes', 'No,' and 'Sort of?'. Answering 'Yes' or 'Sort of?' leads to the conclusion: 'YAYYYY YAHOO YIPPEEEE'. Answering 'No' leads to the conclusion 'You're on thin ice, buddy'.

Also, here's the old version of the chart for comparison:
old version of the syllabary from 2019. The biggest differences are the exclusion of the Eastern Syllables, the exclusion of one of the dipthong columns and one of the consonant rows, and also the fact that it's drawn a lot less cleanly. Also, the lone consonants are drawn with triangle shapes around them.

Chirs @aesungaia.neocities.org · 24/05/2026
Finally, it should be noted that the above chart is formatted to be intuitive to English speakers, with the consonants being alphabetized in English. Here's a more "authentic" version of the chart, with the consonants (and vowels) instead sorted by their type, and their position in the mouth:
same chart as above, but sorted differently

whenever I draw something that prominently features Caelle's prosthetic arm, people on tumblr like to tag it things like "cyberpunk" or "cyborg girl" or "robo girl", and I think that's funny
panel 1 of a 4-panel comic. Caelle, looking slightly offended, removes her prosthetic arm, and says: 'Hey! I'm not a robot or a cyborg! I'm a creature of blood and bone! I'm just a guy with a prosthetic arm!'Panel 2. Caelle continues: 'Like... one of those guys! You wouldn't call those guys cyborgs, would you?' She points at several examples of fantasy characters with prosthetic arms, including Edward Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist, Wolf from Sekiro, and Kushana from Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind.Panel 3. Caelle, suddenly doubting herself, wonders aloud: '...Wait, ARE those guys cyborgs?' She consults a dictionary, which very broadly defines a cyborg as 'a person whose biological functioning is aided by or enhanced by a machine'. The dictionary also defines a machine as 'an instrument or device designed for a particular use'.Panel 4. Caelle turns to look over her shoulder at Isaac, who is standing behind her. 'Isaac, I think we might both be cyborgs,' she says plainly. 'Is that bad?' Isaac asks with concern. Isaac's glasses are labeled 'machine enhancing biological function'.

Panel 17. We're back in the room, which has completely transformed into carpeting, and the cat tree has expanded to fill the entire room. Cats climb and sit and loaf about all over the room. The narration continues: 'There's a cat tree in my house. I've taken a lot of different medications in my life, for a lot of different reasons. Most of them either did nothing, or made things worse. At least, I think they did. If I was getting better, would I even notice?'Panel 18 is completely blank, except for a single sentence: 'What are you supposed to do when neither the doctor, nor the patient, nor the treatment can be trusted?'

Panel 13. The carpet encroaches further, and the page grows darker. In the light at the end of the tunnel, the narration continues: 'What percentage of my life is a normal percentage to forget? If my mind can't be trusted, how can my answers be trusted?'Panel 14 shows several posters on the walls of the doctors office, demanding patience to turn off the phone, asking patients to use their phone to scan a qr code to leave a review, advertising services to patience, and demanding that patients 'only have one problem per appointment'. The narration continues: 'When the quiz is over, the doctor decides which Simpsons character you are based on vibes and their own personal biases, and if they think you're a Marge they won't help you. 'Thanks for taking my quiz! You seem totally normal. That'll be one thousand dollars. You can leave it in the trash next to the four hundred forms that I made you fill out and then didn't read. Yeah, the ones that already asked you all the same questions I did.'Panel 15. We're back in the room. All windows and furniture are gone, and all that remains is the ever-expanding cat tree, and its ever-expanding population of cats. Even the door has begun to disappear, and the walls and ceiling are slowly turning into carpet. The narration continues: 'So, there's this cat tree in my house. I've spent my entire life pretending to be normal in order to survive, and now I don't know how to turn it off, so now no one believes me when I say there's something wrong with me.'Panel 16 shows an extremely close-up illustration of a cat's eye, accompanied by a single sentence: 'Did you know that cats tend to hide their symptoms when they're sick?'

Panel 9. The room continues to change, and the cat tree continues to grow. The narration continues: 'I think a lot about how little the human brain is actually understood. So, there's this cat tree in my house.'Panel 10. The cat tree grows. The narration continues: 'Did you know that the diagnoses for a lot of mental health conditions are practically baseless? There's this cat tree in my house.'Panel 11. Illustration of a pencil next to several mental health assessment worksheets. The narration continues: 'The doctor essentially gives you a 'What Simpsons Character Are You?' facebook personality quiz, full of statements like 'I often feel bad', and you're expected to rate how relatable these statements are on a scale of one to ten, with no frame of reference for what these numbers actually mean.'Panel 12 is mostly text, but we see the carpeted insides of a cat tree slowly encroaching in on the words. The narration continues: 'There's no real metric for any of this. What's the 'normal' amount of anxious? What's the 'normal' amount of autistic? What amount of feeling bad is the 'normal' amount of feeling bad? How much of that is my body, and how much of it is my circumstances? Which number do I circle to get them to take me seriously? Which number communicates that something is wrong, but that others probably have it a lot worse? Six? Eight? If I answer nine or ten, will they assume I'm exaggerating? Will I be immediately hospitalized against my will?'

Panel 5. We're back in the room from before, only the design of the front door has changed, a table has become a cupboard, the window now has blinds, and the cat tree is gone. Three cats levitate in the air, occupying the positions they were previously in while the cat tree was present. The narration continues: 'So, we've got these cats in our apartment. I don't know why they're arranged like that.'Panel 6. Several cats gather around a giant human brain in a void. The narration continues: 'Some things came back to me eventually, and I wasn't sure whether I was still missing pieces, whether I'd totally recovered, or whether there was never anything wrong with me in the first place.'Panel 7. Illustration showing the inside of the cat tree, looking outward, as if we're seeing from a cat's perspective. The narration continues: 'So, there's this room in my house. I don't know how I keep getting in.'Panel 8. We're back in the room, but the window has moved to a different wall, the cat tree has grown, and a portrait that used to hang on the wall is now gone, among other changes. The narration continues: 'So, I have these trust issues. If I forgot something important, would I even notice?'

there's a cat tree in my house (1/6)
Comic panel showing the inside of a room. There's a cat tree by the front door, under a window. There's a dog door on the front door. The narration reads: 'So, there's this cat tree in our house. We got it back when we had cats, but we don't have any anymore.'Panel 2. The cat tree now has cats in it, and the front door no longer has a dog door. The narration continues: 'Lately, it's been filling up with cats I don't recognize. I don't know how they keep getting in. We don't have a dog door or anything.'Panel 3. The cat tree looks slightly different, the cats are gone, and other small details around the room have changed. The narration continues: 'So, we have this cat tree at our house. I don't know how it keeps getting in. We've never had a cat or anything.'Panel 4. Instead of the room, we see an illustration of several cats walking single-file in a void, weaving around the text of the page and several heaps of pills. The narration continues: 'When I was a kid, I used to be on this medication. Long after I'd stopped taking it, it was revealed to me that one of the potential side-effects was memory issues. For the longest time, I couldn't recall a single thing that had happened to me during the years I was on it.'
