One plate left to cut, then bevels. Then wet shaping, Then dyeing, then rivets and arming points. Look up when to add line stitching in this process.

Stack of leather armour pauldrons. Line cut.

It's the 'skip lunch, cut leather' phase of the project as I try to scavenge time wherever possible. That odd occasion where people actually see my polymathy in action. I'm fully self-teaching myself this by studying youtube and analysing examples.

Getting a whole nice comment **thread** on a work just to get a sudden masked suggestion to talk outside of AO3. No, sorry. Can't. Then bam, still hit with the 'I have art ideas! I can draw for this!' scam. Damn, that's cold. Nasty.

Final icicle paint, and the top cover. I wouldn't be able to explain what it is, so just trust me. I don't know what I'm doing either. 100% crafter's instincts, right now.

Okay, I realized I mentioned putting my pit fiend up for auction, but I never shared the link. If you're in the market for a hand painted Pit Fiend modeled after Lucille from Descent into Avernus, and want to help fight Alzhimers, the link is in the replies.

Forgot that SLA doesn't give a damn if you print 1 or 100 models in a go: the print time never changes. 1 pixel equals the full build plate. It's a winning trait of printing with the toxic vampire liquid.

Get the Formfutura clear flexible resin delivered. "Nijmegen, oh, nice, a Dutch company?!" -static error cricket modem noises- 'why did I order this from an Austrian company... this product went from the Netherlands to Austria and then back to the Netherlands... OMFG... I'm so sorry.'

Got 4 weeks for the project. Slammed this weeks agenda with patterning and modelling tasks. Everyone: "you got so much time" Me: "The hardest lesson I learned is that you never give this stuff even a bit of slack." I sized refs, ordered mats: still feels like I did absolutely nothing.

"Go ahead and add your code to the repo." 😰 But I... don't know how...? 🫶 It's a real good thing that I have no concept of 'fear of failure', and oodles of experience in doing the research work all by myself. I have now learned how to do the a-z of commits. 💅 Growth on all fronts.

I'm thinking nonstop about how to upgrade the armour set. Thinking skilltree type leather pauldrons over the coat of plates. Then a pauldron cape: two clasps, detachable hood?, waterfall metal/ice quills from each shoulders. Still need a plan/pattern/design on that direction of insane genius 😬

Hey do you like Woopers? I drew Woopers #POKEMON #WOOPER

a picture of a guy holding a drawing of wooper while looking at the cameara.

A colourful line art watercolour drawing depicting regular Wooper and some Paldean Woopers. Blue Wooper sits atop a mellow waterfall. It’s eyes lovingly fixed on a butterfly in the clear blue sky. It seems like the only thing on its mind. The waterfall leads to a shallow pool where three or maybe more paldean woopers bathe joyfully and interact with each other. In the background you see another higher mountain part from which the water falls. Dark leafs cover the foreground. It is as if you see the specticle from behind the bushes. Today is a good warm day.

Reading proficiency of teens has dropped again. Notably reading text and drawing conclusions from it/relating to self. Seems nice that those heading to 18 can't do that well, considering you now need to opt out for organ donation, which requires reading intricate texts & forming a conclusion- oh.
