I'd really wish there'd be a sustainable way to work in Japan for a few years for middle aged people, with relevant work experience 😮‍💨

Maybe I just slotted down some first ideas for a Japan travel in 2027. I'd nred like 6 or 7 weeks off though 😅 (And that could basicly be turned into two months, right?) Unfortunately I don't think I'll ever get that much time off, despite being allowed to accumulate all the compensation days.

Astrophotographer Adam (AJ) Smadi caught this image a few hours ago from Washington state. A thin crescent Moon, sunlight illuminating the rugged lunar surface. And 2,400 times farther away—and on the other side of the Sun—mighty Jupiter, and its moons Io (left) and Ganymede (right).

A crescent Moon seen during the day, arcing from upper left to lower right of the frame. At lower centre is the full disk of Jupiter; the small dots to its upper left and lower right and Io and Ganymede, respectively.

Late & small loot post from gamescom. I could only play 1001: Threads of Mizan and Tides of Anhilation. But those were worth the time and I'm looking forward to their release 💖 Also really grateful to the colleague who shared the Exodus Loot with me 🙈 (maybe I've been pestering him a bit)

YT adverts showed me the most horrible, ugly AI generated trailer today. I swear my eyes physically hurt from the very few seconds I had to see, before the skip button appeared And I wouldn't even be able to say what it was about, because I was more invested in making it disappear from my screen.
