Hopefully Zhyk isn't coming across damsel-in-distress vibe in some of these prompts. 🤔 He's not supposed to, he's very capable on his own, but it's fun to see him opening up/being a little more vulnerable/allowing himself to lean on someone else when I write him being softer.

I actually did rewrite a chunk of Zhyk's lore back in the day regarding his parents! When I created him, both parents died during his childhood rather than the current iteration. Now both are alive, but on separate continents & Zhyk hasn't seen his mother in at least a decade nor met his father.

People really need to fucking re-learn the difference between "I don't like this" and "This is harmful". Not liking a thing is fine, but you don't get to dictate what others enjoy, actually. Especially not within fiction. Be an adult. If you don't like something, move on.

Very difficult, to the point it's a core factor of his characterization & growth! Even if Zhyk doesn't appear guilty in the moment, it gnaws at him continually. He tends to try and apologize or rectify things by leaving helpful gifts or performing an act of service on the downlow.

Zhyk's been doing his normal day to day when it comes to canon NotWoL business. He's not involved with really any of the MSQ events in that universe so if anything, more work might have opened up involving trade with Tural... but he's not a fan of the ocean so 🤷

I resent a lot of things about AI in creative spaces. But the thing that I hate the most is that a year or two ago, if I saw something cool on the internet, I DIDN'T HAVE TO QUESTION whether or not human effort created it. I could appreciate what an achievement it was that a person could do that.

I'm pretty stoked that I'm keeping up with #ffxivwrite this year. I managed to do it back in 2024 (though I took off the rest days) and got halfway through it in 2021 before burning out. Seeing myself filling a folder with all sorts of writing is really satisfying after being on a hiatus again!

A little fond about the ship tag wildspark already. I like how it conveys a sense of freedom, the potential of beginnings, and more or less encompasses a bit of both characters. (I'm also not immune to "brave little spark" references despite Z's non-WoL aspect a lot of the time.)
