158. A Magical Girl Retires Really interesting story about a 29 year old Korean woman who awakens magical girl powers. Interesting subjects like climate change, suicide and poverty explored through the lens of a hard working woman who can barely make ends meet. Definitely worth reading.

My girlfriend mentioned a couple weeks ago that she hadn’t seen me make artwork just for fun in a long time and that made me reflect. I’ve been so busy on my iPad stressing out about my big projects. So I went back to my roots and got acrylic markers to work with traditional art again ❤️ #art

154. Bocchi The Rock (Anime) Still as much fun as the first time. Bocchi is the perfect depiction of a girl with an extreme social anxiety, with a big tendency to dissociate and overthink every time. The music is wonderful, the cast is wonderful. This is one of my fav animes ever. Go watch it.

151. Tales of Arise Coming from Berseria we expected so much... And this wasn't it. Worse combat, removed systems, worse story, worse characters, worse towns/npcs in general, and some of the voice acting too. I was playing it for June and we decided to just drop it. Honestly, I'm so disappointed...

In the background Asimov can be seen, topless, hiding her breasts, as she's chasing Ottilie, who's carrying Asi's bikini top. Further more in the background planetary rings can be seen

Considering dropping this very cute yuri because the translation is awful. Also whoever chose this font deserves a flick in the forehead... Maybe a dozen, actually. Like, the first chapters had a perfectly useable and readable font. Why would ever you choose this one?

148. Mobile Suit Gundam F91 Great start, then the pacing goes to shit, then I learned that it's a bunch of cuts spliced off 13 episodes from a cancelled 52 episode anime. Makes sense. Sometimes the story just "jumps" forward, leaving you confused. Overall, great animation, mid plot, ugly ass mask.

147. Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn Re: 0096 Really enjoyable anime, great fights and we finally get to see the poor Mineva do literally anything other than being something to protect/destroy (depending on the characters involved). Honestly, it might the best I've watched since Witch from Mercury.

146. Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack This should've been a two-parter, or a mini series. It needed at least 3 hours of air time to get everything in place. Instead, it's just a rushed mess where the main focus is a 13yo girl, and her very weird (cough pedo cough) relationship with Char...

145. Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ Well, after watching Zeta and ZZ, the only thing I can suggest is that you skip both of them. The characters are irrelevant, the events are mostly irrelevant. Also the second half is just pretty garbage, but the first half of zz is absolute dogshit. Waste of time.

A ship that big with barely any crew, and no trained military personnel. The White Base at least felt somewhat competent, and everyone kinda learned how to deal with as many problems as they had over time, but the people in the Argama are just selfish teenagers putting other people at risk.

000

Celeste, Seeker of Comfy (◕‿◕✿) @aeonheals.bsky.social · 24/08/2026

And you get just a couple of very competent characters, like Roux Louka or Torres, and sometimes Elle, completely surrounded by utterly incompetent ones (looks at Bright with contempt. Whatever the hell happened to him...), and it makes me wonder why there are like 5 people in the Argama.

100

Celeste, Seeker of Comfy (◕‿◕✿) @aeonheals.bsky.social · 24/08/2026

And of course, don't get me started in the comedic duo that are those 2 guys (yk the ones), that should have been executed for treason the second they stepped on the Argama. Risked the lives of their friends for money SEVERAL TIMES. Completely unpunished. Everyone is just fooling around.

100

Celeste, Seeker of Comfy (◕‿◕✿) @aeonheals.bsky.social · 24/08/2026

I feel like I'm watching a bunch of barely motivated kids that got to run away from home and play hero fooling around, instead of like Amuro who got his home destroyed or Kamille who got his parents killed. They have no motivation whatsoever to be risking their lives. I just don't get it.

100

Celeste, Seeker of Comfy (◕‿◕✿) @aeonheals.bsky.social · 24/08/2026

So many things that were started, the whole her trying to become Judau's little sister, her getting the dress later on that she got to wear for a whole 2 seconds. And then her death that felt like it had 0 consequence. And I just don't care about most of the cast, tbh. But she was interesting.

100

Celeste, Seeker of Comfy (◕‿◕✿) @aeonheals.bsky.social · 24/08/2026

Leaving aside my general dislike for ZZ Gundam... it really just feels like a complete waste of an anime. Cool characters wasted, time wasted on trash humor all the time. In the OG, at least when a character died it was at least vaguely purposeful. Ple just vanished in an odd fight and that was it.
