162. Per Aspera Ad Astra An AI generated fever dream that could only become possible by the hands of our lord and savior Xi Jingpin and the glory of China. Absolute cinema. What the fuck did I just watch.

161. 2 Fast 2 Furious The first one fills you with the false confidence of "there's no way it gets any worse than this". The 2nd one comes in with the steel chair. Somehow worse writing and plot, Roman is just "horny black man who steals shit" and there's no strong female characters like in the 1st.

160. The Fast and The Furious This shit is somehow worse than I remembered, and I had so much fun watching it with friends. Mediocre plot, this surreal 2000s action movie vibe, overall poor acting. Car go fast vroom vroom.

158. A Magical Girl Retires Really interesting story about a 29 year old Korean woman who awakens magical girl powers. Interesting subjects like climate change, suicide and poverty explored through the lens of a hard working woman who can barely make ends meet. Definitely worth reading.

154. Bocchi The Rock (Anime) Still as much fun as the first time. Bocchi is the perfect depiction of a girl with an extreme social anxiety, with a big tendency to dissociate and overthink every time. The music is wonderful, the cast is wonderful. This is one of my fav animes ever. Go watch it.

153. The Lion King Wonderful film, the music is a lot of fun still after all these years. Also Mufasa's voice in English. And Scar's. Damn.

151. Tales of Arise Coming from Berseria we expected so much... And this wasn't it. Worse combat, removed systems, worse story, worse characters, worse towns/npcs in general, and some of the voice acting too. I was playing it for June and we decided to just drop it. Honestly, I'm so disappointed...

Considering dropping this very cute yuri because the translation is awful. Also whoever chose this font deserves a flick in the forehead... Maybe a dozen, actually. Like, the first chapters had a perfectly useable and readable font. Why would ever you choose this one?

149. Sludgineers Cute short incremental where you clean up purple sludge. I had a comfy time.

Celeste, Seeker of Comfy (◕‿◕✿) @aeonheals.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

148. Mobile Suit Gundam F91 Great start, then the pacing goes to shit, then I learned that it's a bunch of cuts spliced off 13 episodes from a cancelled 52 episode anime. Makes sense. Sometimes the story just "jumps" forward, leaving you confused. Overall, great animation, mid plot, ugly ass mask.

Celeste, Seeker of Comfy (◕‿◕✿) @aeonheals.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

147. Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn Re: 0096 Really enjoyable anime, great fights and we finally get to see the poor Mineva do literally anything other than being something to protect/destroy (depending on the characters involved). Honestly, it might the best I've watched since Witch from Mercury.

Celeste, Seeker of Comfy (◕‿◕✿) @aeonheals.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

146. Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack This should've been a two-parter, or a mini series. It needed at least 3 hours of air time to get everything in place. Instead, it's just a rushed mess where the main focus is a 13yo girl, and her very weird (cough pedo cough) relationship with Char...

Celeste, Seeker of Comfy (◕‿◕✿) @aeonheals.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

145. Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ Well, after watching Zeta and ZZ, the only thing I can suggest is that you skip both of them. The characters are irrelevant, the events are mostly irrelevant. Also the second half is just pretty garbage, but the first half of zz is absolute dogshit. Waste of time.

142. The Introvert Whose Only Redeeming Feature Is Her Face Somehow Built a Yuri Harem - A Former Young Lady Becomes a “Maid” in Akihabara A girl whose only redeeming quality is her beautiful face gets picked up by an instagram friend and works as a maid in Akihabara. Cute but cut short.

141. A Story About a Married Teacher Who Becomes Obsessed With Her Female Student - Hitoma Iruma Okay, before you judge me, this author is VERY fucking good. As for the story, the teacher is extremely aware of how fucked up it is and how she's going to end up in jail when she gets caught. Great read

140. The Odyssey (Nolan) I really enjoyed it. Beautiful visuals, classic story, Agamemnon's fucking aura farming as Troy's gates open is kinda insane. What I didn't enjoy was walking home alone at 1am. And the weird bard rapper guy. He felt so out of place. Pretty cool tho, if you have the time.

Celeste, Seeker of Comfy (◕‿◕✿) @aeonheals.bsky.social · 19/08/2026

139. Spider-Man: Brand New Day I'm not going to spoil anything, I'm just going to say that it's the best one of the 4 even though it feels like it's trying to do 2 films in one. Also I cried a bunch.

110

Celeste, Seeker of Comfy (◕‿◕✿) @aeonheals.bsky.social · 19/08/2026

138. Spider-Man: No Way ome Dr. Strange is a showoff and fucks up, almost destroying the multiverse. At any point is it Peter's fault. To compensate, we get the meme where they point at each other. It's alright, the weakest of the 4 imo. Amazing setup for what's coming tho.

110

Celeste, Seeker of Comfy (◕‿◕✿) @aeonheals.bsky.social · 19/08/2026

137. Spider-Man: Far From Home Again, we get a super cool villain in the form of Quentin Beck / Mysterio, a supernatural extraterrestrial threat and an explosive reveal as the film is about to end with help from JJJ. Super fun watch.

Celeste, Seeker of Comfy (◕‿◕✿) @aeonheals.bsky.social · 19/08/2026

136. Spider-Man Homecoming Fun watch. I really like the Tom Holland Spider-Man movies. The Vulture is a fun villain, and this film sets the tone for upcoming ones. Zendaya as MJ is wonderful, and Ned Leeds is a super fun character that perfectly compliments Peter PArker.

131. Mobile Suit Gundam (1979) Sci-fi story that works as a conduit for you, the viewer, to know sboth that Tomino doesn't like war, and that he hasn't had a single meaningful interaction with a woman in his life. Oh, and he got really high by the end. Do you think mechas are cool? Go watch it then.

130. Eragon (The Dogshit Film) Atrocious adaptation of one of my fav fantasy novel series. It's really bad if you've not read the novels, it's even worse if you have and know what you're missing out on.

129. Toy Story 5 Toys waging a war against technology. The dangers of letting a kid use a tablet unsupervised. Very fun and enjoyable. Shame that the message didn't register for like half the parents watching. The second we stepped outside I saw at least 3 give their kids their phones LMFAO

128. Kiki's Delivery Service I am extremely glad I got to watch this in the cinema, and in VOSE. My 2nd Studio Ghibli film, and it was this masterpiece. Kiki is such a delightful character, you can't help but root for her throughout the film. And of course, I couldn't help but cry by the end. 10/10.

127. Rango Fascinating film. The house chameleon Rango accidentally gets stranded in the desert, meets a weird Wild West-like settlement with water problems and becomes the definition of Fake it 'til you make it. "Just one bullet". Amazing.

125. The Creator Intensely mid sci-fi film. Humanity develops AI, a nuke explodes in LA, the US blames AI (it wasn't AI) and declares war on AI and ALL OF ASIA. MC has to find the creator of AI to kill her but falls in love, decides to save an AI kid while US tries to bomb them with their Death Star

124. Extraction 2 (Tyler Rake 2, en España) Like the 1st one but now he has to rescue a mother and her 2 kids from jail and the mother's husband and his Georgian crime family. Lots of guards, prisoners, mercenaries and police die on this one. These films are really good if you like action films.

100

Celeste, Seeker of Comfy (◕‿◕✿) @aeonheals.bsky.social · 14/07/2026

123. Extraction (Tyler Rake, en España) Tyler Rake is like John Wick if he had to rescue the kid of an Indian drug lord instead of getting his dog killed. And without the weird assassin society. But with the lots of dead people. Basically Christ Hemsworth shooting, punching and killing for 2h ish.

122. The Rip Decent action film about a bunch of Miami cops who discover a huge stash of cartel money. I always watch action films when I feel like shit and don't want to think too much. This one is pretty alright. Still kinda wish I'd watched one of the shitty Jason Statham ones instead LOL

117. Man on Fire It's one of the most 6/10 series I've watched in a while. An ok plot with just ok action scenes and ok characters. It ended and all I could think was, wow, that is one of the things I've ever watched in my life. I will forget about it in a couple of days probably.

Here's mine. Lots of yuri, unsurprisingly. All of these games have made me cry. Also, Life after Magic is f2p and fairly short, so you really should give it a go if you are at all interested in magical girls, and what comes after their fight is over.

LOOK AT MY TWINS (and my clock-faced kid is there too, I guess), they are SO CUTE (the picture might seem like it's shit but this is quite possibly the best picture I can take of them, those lcd screens refuse to look decent)
