Coaster Credit #376: Hyperspace Mountain Another great Parisian take on a Disney classic! The launch wasn’t overly intense, but still fun. It’s a solid Vekoma launch with some fun inversions, and I love that it has the new age restraints.

Today is the last day of operation for Kumba at BGT. I’m sad that I only ever got to ride Kumba once. I liked it a lot, but feel cheated out of the true appreciation a lot of enthusiasts had for this ride. Excited to see what Kumba’s Revenge is all about though!

The DareDeviler is now open at Canada’s Wonderland! The new trains are sooo much better. The ride still has some janky spots, so don’t go expecting it to be butter smooth. I think the roughness adds character though, and it’s not painful.

Days like today always remind me of 2023 and Tundra Twister Media Day. The wildfires and smoke made for some cool photos – but it was a true reflection on our privilege, as despite the bad air quality, we were still able to enjoy a day at the park.

Tundra Twister, a large spinning thrill ride by Mondial at Canada’s Wonderland, on the morning of its media day in 2023. The Yukon Striker roller coaster is also visible, twisting in the background behind the ride. Tundra Twister is at the top of its cycle, pointed straight up into a hazy yellow sky affected by wildfire smoke. It is gorgeous, but the beauty is in contrast to the real damages that the wildfires inflict.

Photos from my recent adventure to Long Point! I visited the bird observatory and saw 47 species in total. Unfortunately, many of them were far away and I don’t have a fancy camera with a telephoto lens, so these were the best my iPhone could do hahaha.
